Not for self defense (obviously) and due to personal reasons on hiatus currently (if all goes well I will start again next year) - but I do Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA).
It's fencing, but mainly with longsword (tried sword&buckler and a bit of rapier), techniques recreated based on historical fencing books and manuals.
Poor Russians though, it always got marginally better at best, and then it got worse again... Hope their next change is around the corner and is longer lasting.
Since you mentiin Fairphone s a example- get Fairphone. Not sure which ROM but it supports at least one of the options. I was thinking of getting one myself but it's unfortunately too pricey
I waited a bit but didn't seem to improve. I intent to try again and play with it. I just didn't have time or mindspace for it, just wanted to play the game for a bit si booted to Windows.
Installed Linux recently... I guess thay explains why the game I tested out played like crap? Fps held until I moved the camera (or anything else was happening) amd dropped to like 3
I'm not judging the game one way or another. I'm arguing about the blind hate when term "live service" gets mentioned. It can be done right and some people like having a game that can be their main game and gets updated regularly. Most live services are bad because the live service element is tacked on to make more money or the developement focused on making a live service, but not a good game.
I reserve my judgment. Most likely this one will not be done in a good way, WB certainly doesn't inspire confidence. But people act as if live service = bad game which is not always true. Lately it is, yes, but it's not a rule set in stone.
If you are from EU, you might try envoking the GDPR maybe? Though most make it incredibly difficult afaik
