Yeah... That's why I keep silent about my ADHD diagnosis at work, even if I'm one of the senior whom helps everyone with everything while also handling the more complex projects...
Somehow, I know that there would still be some stigma around it... :(
If you're unsure about yourself and an official diagnostic would help you know, then id say go for it.
If you know yourself, then an official paper won't change you. It will only be useful for external recognition, and then that's very dependent on the system in which you live.
That being said, I'm just a person with no training on this topic. You should put your psychiatrist advice before mine!
Also, any neurodivergent person will share some common experience coming from not being part of the matin group... I have many friends with ASD, while I'm ADHD.
While we are very different, we also get along so well because we share the fact that our behaviours and tastes are unexpected. We have much greater patience for other people's "quirks"!
To me, the second layer of the joke is that the choice of starting number is significant enough that the author considers it to be two distinct personalities!
Just finished watching Tolkien stuff, so i got this:
Bees are kelvar: beings that are "capable of moving and escaping"! Except maybe for the queen bee, which may be an olvar.
Kelvar was a name used by the Valie Yavanna to refer to that part of her natural realm capable of moving or escaping, as opposed to the olvar which were rooted in place.
For me to be a better friend by better understanding his new limitations...
He already has a good support network, they organised a fundraiser to get him an electric wheelchair, which is awesome! But at first I didn't understand why it was helping him, because I don't know enough about the condition. 🫣
