Mal ganz davon abgesehen, dass Menschen die eine Geldstrafe nicht zahlen können sowieso nicht in's Gefängnis gehören: Wenn der Staat es sich nicht leisten kann für menschenwürdige Verhältnisse für seine Häftlinge sorgen kann, dann sollte er sie freilassen.

They are the lowest of the low in Germany's media landscape and if they stopped existing tomorrow the country would be much better off for it.
Gut, da würde ich das dann auch nicht machen. Das ist dann wie bei meinen Fahrrädern, wo ich auch gerne mehr dafür bezahle weil ich weiß, dass sich das auszahlt, weil sie mir in Zukunft mal kurzfristig kleinere Reparaturen für Lau durchführen oder so. Aber einfach nur beraten zu werden, reicht für mich nicht aus um einen Aufpreis zu rechtfertigen. Bzw. das müsste dann schon eine sehr sehr gute Beratung sein.
Aber so'n Kühlschrank von Weißgeräte, oder n Laptop bei Mediamarkt oder so (zwei Beispiele bei denen ich das schon gemacht habe) finde ich das absolut legitim.
Wo würdest du denn sagen, dass es nicht okay ist das zu machen? Dass ich das nicht an der Supermarktkasse mache, sollte glaub ich klar sein.
Ja, gut aber Beispiel:
Ich habe mir vor einer Weile bei Weißgeräte einen Kühlschrank gekauft und mich da auch beraten lassen. Dann habe ich online geschaut was der Kühlschrank anderswo kostet. Ich finde es ehrlich gesagt auch ziemlich normal das zu tun, denn ich will ja wissen, ob der Preis der im Laden verlangt wird angemessen ist. Dabei habe ich gesehen, dass der Kühlschrank online ein gutes Stück günstiger ist. Jetzt gibt es drei Möglichkeiten:
- Ich bezahl einfach einen höheren Preis obwohl ich genau weiß, dass es anderswo billiger ist.
- Ich sage im Laden, dass es anderswo günstiger ist und frage ob sich was am Preis machen lässt.
- Ich gebe dem Laden keine Chance mir einen besseren Preis zu machen und kaufe direkt online.
1 sehe ich nicht ein. Ist doch mein gutes Recht als Kunde mich zu informieren und ggf. woanders zu kaufen wenn es dort günstiger ist. Und bei Option 3 verliert der Laden auf jeden Fall.
Ich habe mich für 2 entschieden. Der Laden konnte den Preis nicht ganz matchen, ist mir aber mit dem Preis gut entgegengekommen und konnte das Gerät am nächsten Tag bis in meine Küche Liefern. Das Gerät quasi direkt zu haben und Service vor Ort zu haben war für mich den Aufpreis wert und ich habe das Angebot angenommen. Der Laden hat etwas verkauft (mit geringerer Marge, aber sicherlich trotzdem mit Gewinn) und ich hatte am nächsten Tag einen neuen Kühlschrank zu Hause. Ist doch win/win.
PS: Ich finde es ehrlich gesagt auch völlig legitim einfach im Laden zu fragen ob sich was am Preis machen lässt wenn ich was größeres kaufe. Oft springt da auch einfach so ein besseres Angebot bei raus oder sie schmeißen irgendwas an Zubehör gratis dazu. Ist vielen halt unangenehm, aber ich sehe da kein Problem mit.
Dann sollen sie halt "Nein" sagen. Ist doch klar, dass ich als Konsument versuche das beste Angebot zu bekommen und dass ich nicht etwas teuer einkaufe, wenn ich genau weiß, dass es anderswo günstiger ist. Immerhin gebe ich denen die Möglichkeit mir was zu verkaufen. Viele Läden haben sogar policies zum Preismatching (sie hängen's in der Regel halt nicht an die große Glocke).
Wenn ein Laden mir etwas teurer verkaufen will, dann müssen die mir dafür auch einen besseren Service bieten. Meine Fahrräder kaufe ich zum Beispiel alle im lokalen Einzelhandel, weil ich weiß, dass die mich gut behandeln und ich guten (oft kostenlosen) Service bekomme wenn später was damit ist. Da versuche ich dann nicht den Preis zu drücken. Aber wenn ich im Mediamarkt einen Kühlschrank kaufe, zahle ich einfach mehr und bekomme genauso wenig Service als würde ich online kaufen.
Ich habe mich auch schon im Laden beraten lassen und dann anschließend im Internet geschaut wo das Produkt am günstigsten ist. Dann im Laden das Angebot gezeigt und gefragt ob sie das Angebot matchen können. Die sind dann in der Regel nicht begeistert davon, aber oft genug klappt es oder sie kommen mir mit dem Preis genug entgegen, dass ich das Angebot trotzdem annehme, weil mir das Produkt direkt mitnehmen zu können den Preisunterschied wert ist.
Und wenn sie nein sagen, kann man immer noch Online kaufen.
I don't think the issue is really immigration at all. It's that working class people are being squeezed harder and harder and no party, including the AfD, seems to take it seriously. The AfD is just good at populism and pretending they have a solution by blaming it on immigration and selling themselves as less corrupt and incompetent than the others, while actually being just as bad or worse. If the CDU and SPD in particular hadn't allowed things to get this bad while spending decades in power, the AfD's populism wouldn't have fallen on fertile ground.
And there is also an argument to be made that the media has dropped the ball by allowing the AfD on talkshows and debates without sufficiently pushing back and calling out their bullshit and thus allowing them to paint themselves as a legitimate alternative despite being fascists that are found to be at odds with the constitution (Grundgesetz) time and time again.
Also the AfD is probably the best out of all the parties at social media.
These parties are here to stay unless the establishment parties take the Denmark approach and become more anti immigration.
This is exactly what has been happening in Germany (most notably with the CDU and SPD) and it's not working. All that happens when these parties take on AfD talking point is that their voters no longer want to vote for them while the AfD's positions get normalised in the mainstream.
What they actually should do is stop picking uninspiring and corrupt candidates and push for things that would actually benefit the working class (wealth tax, tackling the housing crisis, etc.) instead of funneling more wealth upwards. At the end of the day the AfD is strong because people are struggling to make ends meet and the AfD is using the racism that's always been present in Germany to offer them an easy scapegoat.

I honestly couldn't care less about the game key cards. I understand it's a frustrating downgrade for people who like to collect physical games, but personally I've bought every single game I have for Switch 1 or Switch 2 on the eshop. I don't care about having a box, I'm not interested in reselling them and I like having all my games on the system/SD card and not having to switch cartridges to play different games. Sure it sucks for game preservation, but if and when I'm unable to play the games, I probably won't care anymore, because I'll be on to the next thing.

That being said, I was 100% sure I didn't want kids when I was your age. Now I'm 37 and trying to have kids. Obviously that doesn't mean you'll change your mind, but it can happen.
TPU tubes are objectively faster than butyl tubes, due to reduced rolling resistance and they are also about 100g lighter per tube. 300g weight saving (100g per wheel, plus one spare tube) is not too shabby and even with the more expensive brands (I use the Pirelli ones) TPU tubes are probably the cheapest way to save that kind of weight on your bike. The effect is definitely quite noticable imho, but if you're going 5-10km/h faster, then I doubt the gains are 100% from the inner tubes.
I use TPU tubes on both my road and my gravel bike and would not consider going back to butyl. Tubeless would probably be even better, especially for gravel, but I'm not ready to commit to that.
Type F is also shuttered (at least in modern installations), no metal is exposed if it's only inserted half way because it is recessed and many plugs are also sheathed. Fuses in plugs are unnecessary, because there are circuit breakers (which also allow you to turn off the power to individual parts of the home if you're installing a lamp fitting or something). They also work with tumble dryers and the plugs are also generally right angled and stick out no further than a type G.
Additionally the plugs are compatible with many other standards, non grounded plugs can be very compact, making things like USB chargers much smaller. And they won't impale your foot if you step on them.

Es gibt viele gute Gründe sich gegen das Kinderkriegen zu entscheiden (die auch in dem Artikel aufgegriffen werden). Als Gesellschaft sollten wir definitv anstreben diesen Gründen etwas entgegenzusetzen, auch wenn es natürlich absolut legitim ist wenn Menschen einfach keine Kinder wollen. Bessere Work/Life Balance, statt Forderungen nach mehr Überstunden und Umverteilung von Reichtum nach unten, damit sich mehr Menschen in der Lage sehen sich um Kinder zu kümmern wären zum Beispiel ein guter Anfang.
Ein anderer Punkt, der in dem Artikel gar nicht erwähnt wurde: Menschen die Kinder wollen, wo es aber nicht auf natürlichem Wege funktioniert. Menschen werden immer später Eltern, was das Kinderkriegen nicht unbedingt einfacher macht (oder es gibt andere Gründe warum es nicht funktioniert oder es sind Singles oder Paarkonstellationen wo es auf natürlichem Wege überhaupt nicht funktionieren kann).
Eine Kinderwunschbehandlung kann aber sehr schnell sehr teuer werden und sowohl GKV und PKV übernehmen das entweder nur teilweise oder überhaupt nicht. Bei Kosten die mehrere tausend Euro bis 5-stellig werden können, ist das für viele einfach nicht bezahlbar. Einige Behandlungen (z.B. eine Eizellspende) sind in im Gegensatz zu den meisten europäischen Ländern in Deutschland außerdem verboten, so dass Menschen dafür in's Ausland reisen müssen, wo sie auf jeden Fall 100% Selbstzahler sind und Reisekosten das ganze zudem noch unerschwinglicher machen.
Kinder kriegen sollte halt kein Privileg für Menschen mit Geld sein, denn zum einen ist das schon alleine aus moarlisch/ethischer Sicht für'n Arsch, sondern auch einfach dumm, wenn man in einer Gesellschaft lebt, die aktiv dafür sorgt, dass es immer weniger Menschen mit Geld gibt.
I played it and completed the story. In my opinion it's not awful, but it's not exactly good either. The gameplay is bland, repetitive and unoriginal. Nothing about it is special in any way and unless you care about the Star Wars license, there is literally zero reason to play it. If you do care about the license the gameplay is serviceable enough to keep you busy while it tells its story, but that's about it. Which makes it pretty ironic that Ubisoft blames Star Wars for the game's lack of success.
I don't know, bikes are incredibly diverse vehicles too. A tricycle is nothing like a cargo bike, a full suspension mountain bike, a road bike, a time trial bike, a BMX, a fixed gear etc. and they all feel very different to ride.
And while there might not be as many moving parts as on a car, a lot of engineering goes into the design of high end bicycles. If you're into bikes, it's very easy to appreciate the beauty and functional design of a well designed bicycle.
The fact that they are at their core simple machines which basic function hasn't changed since the invention of the safety bicycle in the 1880s, yet have been innovated on ever since to arrive at the bikes we have today is what makes them fascinating imo.
Some people enjoy cars and some people enjoy bikes, but there isn't really anything that makes one more inherently interesting.
