They probably have other reasons they vote republican. If they could cherry pick each issue, those 41% would obviously vote accordingly but the reality is it's just one big game of red vs blue so it's yet another complex topic reduced to a binary
The moving thing worked for me, I just said I'm moving back in with my parents and they have amazing Internet. Like to me that's a checkmate, they can't say anything
What I like about lemmy so far is downvotes don't effectively censor people like they do on Reddit. Reddit collapses downvoted comments which I think is kinda fucked up
In normal circumstances I'd understand that, but describing Trump particularly as risk-averse is kind of an interesting take imo
