Well, they have a kind of 2FA since at least 30 years, long before rolling tokens were all over the place. Their latest implementations are as simple to use as Steam 2FA. If a bank isn’t able to implement a proper 2FA login there’s a ton of other security issues to worry about. Lastly, I think by using their own implementation/app they prevent their customers from using compromised apps.

I don’t know about the US but on this side of the pond banks have their own 2nd factor apps. So to log in to a bank’s website you need an app - quite probably with play integrity.

IMO driving while tired is worse as the impairment creeps up on you for hours and you can stop at any time. There should be almost no impairment in your decision making.

On drugs it conceivable that you took a couple of shots and then your drunken mind decided to drive. In this case the decision to drive was made by someone impaired.

Well, it helped me understand why people would very regularly not understand apparently simple stuff I explained. This happened on so many topics with so many people it was very frustrating.

I don’t think that makes them lesser than me or me better than them (the people not understanding)… It just means I had and still have to work on adapting my messaging to my audience ← and that is something that everybody regardless of IQ should do.

Right now you can see how the rich own all the land and have no need to use or sell it. This way they create a shortage and can charge a higher price for the land they use or sell. IMO the only way to break this up to stop charging property tax at all - because all land ownership goes back to the state. If someone wants to use land they rent it from the state. If they do not use or misuse rented land the land goes to a different renter (or to the state).
