    Is there a course you can take to learn to be inventive and resourceful like Violet Baudelaire from Series of Unfortunate Events?

  • Perhaps not a course, but a lot of trades require similar types of "improvised" problem solving using only the resources available to you.

    It seems like, from the very limited info you have provided, you're looking to be a problem solver with no problem. Go make or fix something, even it just out cardboard, tape and chewing gums.

    A lot of inventiveness and resourcefulness comes from repeatedly solving problems and applying the cumulative experience gained each time.

    Also remember characters like Violet or MacGyver are in fictional worlds. Their surrounding, problems, and "quick" thinking has all been carefully thought out over time by the author. If the character needs some duct tape, guess what's going to be conveniently on a shelf nearby.

  • I left spark once the AI crap started being introduced. I also realized how terrible the "single sign on" feature, where you make an account and it saves all your email accounts in it for you.

    K9 has worked fine for me for a few years now.

    Reviews are from people opposed to any change when Thunderbird took over, which were pretty negligible btw.

    With whatever client you pick, check the fetch settings, which for K9 are found when you click on an account in the main settings menu.

    K9 doesn't use google play services for push notifications, so it will never be instant. You can have it check every 15 minutes or up to 24hrs depending on how you need to balance battery vs checking. I have mine set to an hour (I think that is the default?)

    You should also check the app's battery settings and make sure background usage is enabled or battery saver is off.

    Your complete misquote of my statement doesn't aid in your argument at all. It makes you look like mainstream news misquoting everyone for clicks.

    If you choose to extrapolate meaning and paraphrase my statement that's fine. But you misquoted it, added words, didn't provide much of a counterpoint and you don't even want to see me jack of a stuffed tiger, so rude.

    It only takes one person to be so fucking desperate for their beans they end someone's life over it. That life isn't going to be from the rich class, its gonna be some grandma who got shoved out of the way for the can.

    If you want to put society in a situation where every day people have to fear for their lives grocery "shopping" or struggle to get food and their life saving meds because all the pharmas left town than you are no better than the rich assholes who watch us struggle while wiping their asses with 3ply hundred dollar bills.
