  • If this wasn't enough of a wakeupcall to not put all the eggs in one basket then what is? Companies are literally doing this to lock you into their service so it's harder to switch since you then have to find X new services instead of just one.

    Better go with one that'd specialized for each service you need...

  • Ist halt dieser ewige asoziale kapitalistische Ansatz wo man ewig keinen Profit macht in der Hoffnung ein ausreichend starkes Monopol auf zu bauen um dann die Daumenschrauben an zu ziehen und Jahre an Verlusten wieder rein zu holen.

    Spotify hat dazu geführt dass kleinere Musiker kaum noch Geld verdienen weil keiner mehr CDs kauft durch dieses "zu gut um wahr zu sein" Abo-Angebot mit dem sie eingestiegen sind. Ist ja auch immer noch ein absurd günstiger Preis der nur darauf abzieht alternative dienste auszubluten bis man so eine absurde Infrastruktur aufgebaut hat dass einen kein neuer Dienst mehr einholen kann im Kernmarkt.

    Bin jetzt seit einiger Zeit von Spotify weg weil ich das boykottiere und mir fällt an jeder Ecke auf wie das überall der Standard ist und kein anderer Dienst überhaupt Angeboten wird s Option wenn irgendwer eine Playlist veröffentlicht, wenn Künstler neue Alben rausbringen gibt's meist nur links wo man es kaufen kann und Spotify/YouTube. Podcasts sind teilweise exklusiv da zu finden...

    You could get lucky and get a used one for cheap? Since the battery can be replaced and is usually the only part needing regular replacements every couple of years you should be fine?

    I much prefer retrospectives and post mortems of projects in person, too. Still no reason to force people to come in as long as the work gets done

  • And literally everyone else (besides the Left Party) is attacking him as their main opponent for that, despite the party being #4 in the polls at the moment and the Russian sleeper agents AfD+BSW are threatening to breach 1/3rd of the votes blocking any further changes of the constitution even if all democratic parties agree on it.

    I really don't get why the CDU chose to attack the greens over the AfD and how they can seriously consider the scheming FDP as a possible coalition-option...
