I had a very dear friend pass this year from Pancreatic cancer.
The dogshit thing about Pancreatic cancer (aside from it being cancer) is you generally don't feel unwell until you're quite advanced with it / stage 4 (terminal). That is what happened in my friends case. They gave so much in their short life and had so much more to give.
I'm sorry, I don't think my comment was overtly substantial; I wanted to echo your point about how insidious cancer can be.
Lemmy: Mastodon's even nerdier sibling that's all about "federation" and "open-source." It's like Reddit for people who own too many Linux T-shirts and think upvoting is a sacred duty. Decentralized boredom at its finest.
I've been using these for almost as long as I've been using Linux (10+ years). Plug and play and a good length on the cable. No vibration but that wasn't essential for me.
(PS there IS a wireless model / version but I've never used it - Logitech F710).
I've just been reading up on this. It's a law from 1994 and as I understand it; these laws were introduced to protect smaller family retailers and to help people attend church. If so, this feels like an incredible outdated and archaic law, no?
My guy that is the best weekend to have. What games are you going to be playing? My partner and I are replaying DoS2 and I'm attempting to get into Dwarf Fortress (Steam version) although it's proving rather challenging to say the least.
Have a fantastic weekend and remember to take it easy!
I quit by switching to vaping and then working the nicotine level down to nothing and then quitting that. Whatever you decide to do I wish you the best of luck (and stick with it!)
Assumption is the mother of all fuck-ups.
