  • Like you I looked for an alternative to Proton and I've been using tuta for a couple of years now as my main mail. You can create aliases with your own custom domain. My only non important complaint is that you can't use other email clients (Thunderbird, K-9), due to their encryption I guess. They are also fairly active in Mastodon.

  • Disco Elysium, such interesting and complex world building beneath the drunken detective murder mystery. Shame ZA/UM ruined everything with the devs and we probably won't get anything else out of it.

  • You had me on the first half, not gonna lie.

  • The only thing an orca gets by getting near a yacht like that is shredded by its propellers, or shot... Orca attacks mostly target small to average size sailboats from your average Joe.

  • As a portuguese, I have to say, never before have I been so offended by something I one hundred percent agree with.

  • Reduces waste and profit, that is a no-no.

  • True, but it's like reading a news report about a bear attacking an RV of a working class family on holidays parked in a road and then people on the comments saying "yeah screw those billionaires, go bears!".

  • Yeah, this one is really annoying, unless a bilionaire is going to sail on a sailboat with less than 15m, they are never going to get one. People cheer when orcas sink a sailboat but most of them are from middle class families, equivalent to an RV.

  • Linux gaming is at a point where the only games that don't work are the ones being actively blocked by the developers, mostly through anti-cheat systems. Just install a stable distro like Ubuntu or Fedora, and use Steam, Lutris and/or Heroic to manage the games and compatibility layers needed for them.

  • There has been for some time the option to play on "safer seas" where its basically a private server for your party, but you get lesser rewards.

  • I guess that's why it was a failed easy encyclopedia check

  • Heck, it should be mandatory. I bought it, I should be able to do whatever I want with it. Its like that for PCs, why not smartphones?

  • For a single-player game...

  • Maybe this is the reason why!

(I know its a satire article)

  • I started playing a year ago (also on Linux), I never felt a lack of players to do anything, be it recent or older content. As for performance, from what I can compare with my friends, its runs at about 90% of windows. It's free to play the base content, give it a try!

  • Man that game is a damn masterpiece
