  • You know, with that perspective it makes perfect sense now. They want the priests to do exactly that, supposedly originally to prevent bloodline dynasties, but who can really say given the secretive nature of so much shit they do at the highest levels. So if the priests can do it as an act of supposed devotion, so should every random gay person.

Meanwhile we see the priests that have devoted their lives to the church definitely cannot manage to do that, so expecting random people to is fucking ridiculous.

  • Forgiveness is a requirement because actually abiding by the rules is impossible. It is designed that way so you're obligated to seek forgivenes and stay within the church's influence.

  • Not by a long shot. There's a reason Steam has an entire section of the library page that shows controller compatibility. Not to mention Big Picture mode and all the living room gamers. Keyboard sand mouse on a couch is terrible, no matter what hardware you have or how you try to convince yourself it's not.

I personally use a controller 99% of the time. In both casual and competitive games.

  • I totally forgot about the Guardians game. I don't think I ever finished it. Got lost in the hustle and bustle of life.

Gonna have to go back through that.

  • You still gotta suck that Boba straw though.

  • You say this as if things like variable speed compressors, multiple compressor stages, and designs other than the generic mostly empty box with an open vertical fan on top don't exist for air conditioners as well.

Your previous air conditioner was designed for its intended purpose. Based on your description it almost certainly didn't have the hardware to function as a heat pump, so being inoperable during a snowy winter wasn't an issue, given it's designed use. On the other end, it was the house I'm in has had three air conditioning units over its lifetime. None of them were an open vertical design like that, and I'm in AZ where snow is irrelevant.

You're talking about equipment designed for the intended use case of cold weather that takes environmental aspects like snow accumulation into account for its design instead of ignoring it, and acting like that is some sort of new technology. It's just better designed and not just the cheapest shit they can get people to buy. Whoever bought an exposed air conditioning unit like that in an area with regular snow was an idiot that clearly did zero research.

  • Oh Pearson definitely does thst as well. But not everyone lives near or has reliable transit to a testing facility. Online testing is essentially a requirement for those people.

  • Kitchen scales measuring accuracy and to a hundredth of a gram for instance.

  • Pearson is a testing company. They use all sorts of sketchy shit under the guise of anti-cheating. Much of that requires specific plug-ins and stuff that only work in Windows.

Even if you could get it working, but they'll likely just say you were cheating, and take the $300+ you paid to take that required test.

  • Unfortunately she gave the GOP time to search for a sycophant candidate they can shovel in there.

  • If by recently, you mean decades. Cold climate heat pumps have been able to handle temps down to -30F for quite a while.

The recent difference is just that they're now being advertised, have articles being written about them, and most importantly... government subsidies to upgrade.

  • Well of course. He was a Russian Asset "Krasnov", and had tens of millions of dollars in loans from them. And he's always been open about admiring Putin.

  • Do you think he personally signs the checks?

Of course not. Just like he doesn't personally handle the payments for his businesses that don't pay contractors. I guarantee it was his decision to actively not pay them though.

I don't know why you keep wanting to talk about snap

Because it's a recent example of the Trump administration actively choosing not to make payments that are owed, and are even normally handled automatically.

Not sure how you're missing the relevance to whether they are not making other owed payments related to similar events.

  • It's always been that way. The ones ones that ever claimed differently were those people. Because they couldn't comprehend the thought that they didn't earn and deserve what they were actually handed.

  • With an exception for talking about his supposed money. Anything remotely close to saying he didn't have the money he claimed was met with extreme responses.

People that actually have that much money don't talk about it. They just use it to their advantage. The ones that don't, try to flaunt the little they have and make it seem like they have a bunch more. Often being up to their eyeballs in various types of debt. This is almost certainly where Trump has been most of his life, hence all the random ventures to try and make quick cash from grifting.

  • My phone's manufacturer has built in compatibility and quick sharing with iPhone for a year. Fucking posers

What android phones have supported AirDrop for a year?

Because I can't find anything online to support that claim. There are various apps that do similar transfers, but none of them work WITH airdrop specifically that I can find.

  • Coward. What happened to being a fighter? Random fascists that used to support you now threatening you is an issue? Didn't seem to be an issue when you were directing them at Dems.

  • This is why I find it hilarious that suddenly people are talking about heat pumps so much. They're not a new technology by any means.

The only reason your current air conditioner doesn't run in reverse (a heat pump) is because they wanted to save $10 in materials, and charge $1000 or more for one that does.
