There are somethings to worry about here, but the biggest red flag is the motivation. Buying someone you barely know a gift "so they can match" screams manipulation and control.
Buying a brand new friend a new phone because theirs broke? Cool I guess. Buying a new friend a new phone so they can look like you? That sets off alarm bells in my head and I'd have a serious talk with your kid about boundaries and power and control dybamics.
You just going to ignore the very first thing in that article?
Update: Jeri Ryan contacted Screen Rant with the correction that the problems she encountered involved her Borg drone costume and not her catsuit. The original article is as follows.
"Don't worry about Trump guys, he's doing great! Keep up the good fight against Joe Biden, he's the real enemy! I'm totally a real person that 100% came up with this original thought that I 100% believe in on my own."
I don't know why she's upset. Trump has lied and taken every possible side on just about every issue. He has absolutely no consistency or credibility and everyone knows that, even if they may lie to themselves about it.
Whatever Trump does is what you signed up for if you didn't vote for Harris.
You think nine months before an election is enough time to change a massive establishment like the DNC? Presidential campaigns take years of planning before candidates even announce their running.
You think a small percentage of voters in a few states whose only message is "Don't vote for Biden" is the kind of action we need to "change the game"? If this is the kind of action lemmy progressives expect to take and make meaningful strides towards progress it's absolutely no surprise nothing actually gets done. Maybe do something useful besides spreading fasicts voter suppression talking points and maybe start now instead of February 2028.
Unfortunately progressives are a very small percentage of the electorate and have proven time and time again they aren't going to show up to vote. In fact progressives so rarely show up that they've effectively removed themselves as members of the electorate.
