That’s why I bring the cute women mountain biking, and then they complain when we have to bike up a hill…
I really want to make a joke about C, but I’m not a very good programmer. Maybe:
“A magical tome that makes you feel insecure.”
It’s tough for me to go without snacks in a day. I genuinely cannot imagine what losing 250 lbs is like. dudes got some serious willpower for that.
Folk punk sounds like a really interesting genre. Do you have any recommendations?
I mean I’ve seen more than a couple of shows at my local waterhole, and the price has been between free and $20. The $20 one was Moonhooch and absolutely worth it!
If you like listening to live music, it’s there, but it’s not T-Swizzle.
I hold no allegiance to Singer, I was merely using him as an example since he is a well known moral philosopher. But now I’m curious, what’s the tea, why is he so bad? What makes him deserving of the title human garbage?
Hey don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of people that need to touch grass, there’s some areas that I have ignorant opinions about. But the best way to fix that is to have constructive mature conversations with real people.
Ps. Carnivore diet is silly and leaves you with less energy than 4 well rounded meals a day, even if it is consistent. Smaller complete meals throughout the day can give you more consistently high energy than ketosis ever will.
Wildermyth is a weird game that comes up with really interesting procedurally generated stories as you play through the life of an adventurer.
I have lots of friends that are vegan/have been vegan, or are sympathetic to the cause. IRL I have had some wonderful conversations about veganism and the ethics of our diet. But on the Internet it’s the vegans ironically that need to get out and touch grass. It’s like there’s no nuance to any conversation, like sorry I can be Peter Singer, it’s actually kinda difficult to be that moral.
You could just do steroids, then you could get ripped and lactate. Sounds like a win win to me
My brother was building ebikes back in college back when companies were just starting to sell them, so this was somewhere around 2010(I’m not so good with numbers). When he built his it was more of a moped. It had a throttle and a hub motor and could go pretty darn fast, though technically counted as an experimental vehicle.
I believe back then there were still laws about how fast a bike could go before it was considered a motorcycle, at least in New York. But I think going fast was part of the appeal of early ebikes.
There was a very hacky feel to the community then. I remember visiting my brother and seeing a guy ride an ebike with a trailer that carried all his batteries.
Umm, I don’t. We’re a Republic, always have been.
I think it was around the time of the windows 10 beta, I was trying that out and also dual booting with Linux mint.
I remember being a little frustrated with getting games to work great on Linux, but even more frustrated just using Windows. So I thought “Linux makes me less mad, I’m just going to use that”
There’s some really obscure references in gintama, now maybe everyone in Japan is as well versed in old Japanese TV and cinema as Sorachi Hideaki? I think part of its appeal is it’s esoteric references though.
As far as the puns go, I’ll admit most fluent Japanese speakers understand them (I’m not fluent).
I don’t think anyone can be so familiar with the Japanese language and culture to fully understand gintama. It’s still amazing tho
I think having thousands of insects collect that nectar is more efficient than trying to do it by hand. But I’d be curious to taste if the bees impart any additional flavor. I know honey made by giving bees primarily sugar water doesn’t taste like much, but there could be other stuff going on with the nectar inside the bee.
Some places/people are really good at making a good crust. Then you’re not eating boring bread, but really good bread. And who doesn’t love good bread.
It can be surprisingly difficult to get good crust in the US. But I can understand not always wanting to eat the crust in America because some pizzarias just don’t care enough to make a good dough.
I feel like you’re getting pushback because your definitions. Do you think you could define, open source, free, libre?
Why does software licenced under the gpl not fall under open source? What problems do you have with the OSI’s definition open source.
