(she/they)

  • I love my Le Creuset butter bell, but since going GF I hardly use it anymore.

  • Why do we have all these crypt keepers still in power? Just retire already!

  • I will tell you that the soundtrack alone tells a story without a doubt, having listened to it at least a hundred times on repeat. After seeing the movie, all the pieces fit perfectly.

I know others are complaining about the movie and maybe that is dissuading you, but fuck 'em. I don't pay much mind to others opinions because most people like to play follow the leader and not think for themselves. It's a great movie and I'm going to see it again before it leaves theaters.

  • I was born at 5pm, so I like to think this is why I'm more active at night and lethargic during the day. I never have a problem staying up unless I do a lot of physical activity. I also occasionally take naps in the middle of the day, feeling like I didn't get enough sleep at night and I'm trying to top myself off.

Besides, it's so nice and peaceful at night. Kids are asleep, no outside noise, I can hear my tinnitus clear as the Byzantine bells. I can focus on my work without distraction. Hello darkness, my old friend.

  • Just changed it recently to Init by NIN (Tron Ares soundtrack). YouTube

  • Awwww. head pats

  • It's "in plain sight", as in, very easily visible.

And no, I'm not calling you an AI. A clanker would have known the difference.

  • Swing again; you missed. There are more ways to get through to people than violence. That's why I don't practice religion.

  • If it improves your moral responsibility and helps you be kind and accepting, I'm all for it. But lording over others with "God's plan" or whatever is just social engineering for dominator culture. That's not very wuwei of them.

  • "Bruh"? Take a seat, kiddo.

  • She's a reporter, not a writer. Big difference.

  • Electric Twizzlers mmmm

  • If you're still taking supernatural campfire stories with you into adulthood, I view you as a child and, well, children should be seen and not heard.

  • A strange read indeed. The author is the reporter, Meg Farris. I think she trained for the camera and not the pen.

This is where AI could have helped her restructure her narrative and grammar, but I hate saying that because most folks would have submitted what the AI gave back verbatim without any proofreading or edits to the copy.

  • Walking zazen.

  • Ooh, I do love me some Neue Haas Grotesk, but your handwriting is beautiful! And the lowercase a's? The slash through your 7's? Dotted quadrille paper? Be still, my heart.

  • Yeah, well most (if not, all) religion is male-dominated, so it's natural to think God is a man. That's a pretty unhealthy point of view, especially considering that the entire world is run by men, which means egos running wild, one-upmanship on the reg, violence ad nauseum, not to mention followers oppressing anyone that doesn't fit the mold. That's not religion; that's dominator culture. Knocking your head on the floor is just going to give you brain damage.

  • Meh. They're already on my boycott list (Pepsico, Frito-Lay) when they rolled back DEI earlier this year.
