  • Farscape. I never heard much, if anything about it in Denmark, but it's amazing. Good sci-fi great humor.

  • I heard an interview with Hummelgaard who put it forward this time, and he is absolutely raging clueless.

  • I read that as incineration, and I didn't even think it was harsh.

  • I thought buy a one way ticket to the us, a few weeks of fun, self deport.

  • The obvious next step would be for EU to invade Ukraine as well, telling Russia to leave or they will be considered legitimate targets.

  • They're sort of doing that now though with DC and Chicago.

  • Honestly, it's the same in Denmark.

  • Honestly, people would probably object more to advanced math than advanced biology if they were exposed as much to it. Or basic math. Or elementary math...

  • Jeg ville være helt enig hvis ikke for det faktum at ikke mindre end to personer, som jeg startede med på dtu software efter første år skiftede til lægestudiet. Det er ikke sygeplejerske, men det er godt nok tæt på!

  • A few things.

If we look beyond my family, reading is a big passion of mine. This is more audiobooks lately due to the aforementioned family, but whatever keeps the hobby going.

I enjoy movies and have a nice surround sound setup at home. That can eat up a lot of time, just reading about how to improve, not to mention actually using it for both movies and music (again the family can make this difficult to achieve).

I really like photography and have a few of my own pictures hanging on the walls. I have spent hours at a time hunting for great photos, not to mention photo marathons where you take a walk for 12 or 24 hours with your camera.

I enjoy biking. I bike to work every day. When we had the time my wife and I went on longer rides up towards 100km. Small kids have killed the longer trips, but the daily commute lives on!

I recently got into home assistant, automating many a thing, preferably without pissing off the wife too much. That's a precarious balance act, but for now we're still together, so I haven't messed up too badly - yet.

I might have left something out, and I know I had other passions that were left behind as my attention shifted that I haven't mentioned. Lots going on always!

  • Now they make your smart bulb disconnect from the network.

  • Why divide it into districts and not just let every vote count?

  • Not entirely done (a heading is inside the card) and I have redacted some photos. This is the main tablet view. Another page has lights, but this is more interesting I think.

Topmost I have the state of the house alarm, if the cage to the rabbits is open or closed, and whether one of my kids is in school or not.

Weather below that, Icons show whether it's safe to open the parasol (wind gust speed, cloud coverage and temperature play in here) and if sunscreen is needed (uv index). If a door or window is open, a card is shown. A list of when trash is being picked up, the agendas for the kids and finally the price of energy for the day.

  • I've had brake wires snap on me multiple times. On my old bike both brake handles broke (not simultaneously) rendering the brake in question broken. The chain coming loose is expected.

My latest experience is the handlebar rod breaking leaving the handlebar and the front wheel unjoined - I still have a 6x2 cm scar on my left forearm from this experience (road rash). I was NOT driving that fast, but taking a tumble with a bike can be eventful. I'm hopeful I will never experience losing a wheel while driving.

  • This is only missing JP coming up with a completely deranged definition of what fries are that he demands the cashier adheres to (I don't think the vodka applies, that's more making fun of the cashier). And also him entirely dodging the question of whether he likes fries, stating that people have discussed whether he likes fries but he refuses to reveal it.

  • a fascist dictator leading the country; the complete and entire erosion of the rule of law

It's more relevant in the states right now, but this is something we should all worry about all the time.

  • What did they expect when they hired a cannibal soldier?
