It's like paying working in the same town as the Nazi bar. Maybe your taxes do end up keeping the roads and sidewalks that do go past the bar, but to say that's supporting the bar is a stretch
I've known about UU my whole life, as a kid I was taught they were heretics who were going to hell. I grew up in a fundamentalist Baptist church, have now abandoned religion and I consider myself a humanist. My wife has been wanting to go to church again with our 2 daughters, been doing research and found UU church near me. Went 2 weeks ago and it was an awesome experience. I will try another UU church that looks like it may be a better fit for my family (more famies, the first one we went to was in a retirement town, only a few kids) this weekend. I definitely look forward to being with a group of people who have the same ideals and have a place to volunteer and help my local community and get involved in activism
If you go let me know how the experience was. I hate the idea of going to church but the UU churches went to was the best religious experience I've ever had
I keep hoping sync will be updated
