  • It's true, I should spend less time here on Lemmy.

EDIT: If you think I haven't heard/experienced those things on Lemmy, oh boy do I have bad news for you. I've had to make multiple accounts for every time a bunch of MGTOW guys decide to spam my account with messages/downvotes, so I'm used to it. Downvote away :)

  • Oh yeah, whenever I see men whining and complaining about something to do with women, I feel this sense of euphoric calm; this feeling of 'I remember this. I'm not part of that group anymore. They don't speak for me.'

It has a tinge of melancholy afterwards, because I still have to deal with men, yet I feel less embarrassed for myself.

  • Reading over these comments brings me back to why I came out as non-binary, and the gender euphoric boost is quite nice.

  • Their managers are also call center employees who will filter that noise out. That’s one of the reasons to employ a call center.

Then how did Collective Shout cause all of these companies to do what they want with ~1000 phone calls?

  • toasty

  • Is this a kill all men thing or like

A threat saying to fight back against catcallers

    Well, yes.

  • Patricio Manuel is 3-1 in boxing. His main issue is men won't fight him now because they're terrified of losing to a trans man. It's patriarchy all the way down, so generally the accomplishments of men who've transitioned and suppressed, because it kind of shatters the entire 'unfair' claim when trans men can win. It also doesn't help them that being a trans woman isn't some kind of automatic win; I can't remember her name, one woman was claimed to be 'cheating' because she was trans, but she got 6th in the event. So the entire 'huge advantage for people born men' thing keeps getting disproved time and again.

  • Replit is an agent that does stuff for you including deploying to production.

Ahahahahahhahahahahhahahaha, these guys deserve a lost database for that, Jesus.

  • How are you? Are you okay?

  • As an AMAB them-fatale who found out they had male pattern baldness the day they came out, I, uh, I needed to hear this. 😭 EDIT: I really do appreciate the ideas and help, everyone, but I think we all misunderstood the assignment given the quote: "...femininity doesn't have to come from hair or any of those traditional female archetypes of appearance..." 😂 Thank you all though, I have happy tears reading your replies.

  • The 'incident' at the corner store is uh, not great either, eh?

  • That’s why I’m thinking the folders were merged in error.

This would require so many different people to fuck up it seems pretty unlikely, not to mention they would have to take those images, resize/edit them, put them into the game, and have not one person notice they deviate from the images that were agreed upon. You don't just 'upload someones folder'.

  • Oh wow that was incredible, hahaha.

  • I can almost guarantee you that what happened is that Antireal’s art was saved to one of the artists’ “inspiration” folders, and somewhere between creating an inspo gallery and that artist quitting/getting laid off, the files got merged into a “concept/assets” folder. Likely when going through the laid off artist’s hard drives, they found images that they probably assumed were all originals.

I've worked in games for 18 years, and outright theft of assets happens constantly. I worked on a game where an artist took an asset (from a rather well known game) and outright used it, no changes. Another place I worked an artist took an (extremely unique) weapon from an IP and just copied it over.

If you look at the Bungie art it couldn't possibly be an inspo gallery because they are just straight up used with (some) changes made to them. This was absolutely known to have occurred, and wasn't 'an' artist. You can see why they do this because even in the event they're caught, they can blame a former employee, and pay some nominal fee for the actual artists work.

  • This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.
