That's when you go to alternativeto.net and get a different one. If you're running into that problem then you just are using the wrong tools.
We're talking about programs that are equally useful in both GUI and CLI, we're not talking about libre office which is necessarily complex or a video editing program with a thousand transitions. Those are always going to be cryptic and always going to be GUI.
The problem with CLI is it can't be made easier with a different interface.
Not to mention that windows domains fail gracefully. You can still format and reinstall if you want but most problems can be cleaned up as you limp along rather than taking the whole company down with a single server failure

Based on what? Pure dollar signs? I would absolutely not want to convert to a fiefdom style monarchy, slave state, or aggregaryen commune because my quality of life would go down in all three. I might have a larger percent of the overall Total money but that doesn't matter if money stops mattering.
I don't cope until my brain decides that it's time for a change of topics and then I do cope. So it just only lasts a little while even though nothing is resolved and I'll come back to it later.
If you need markdown and other formatting you can use notion.so, but I can't expect that company will be good in the future even though they're good now. They've already added AI. I use it for a note-taking because I can create hyperlinks between notes.
