  • I don't know if this actually does what I hope it does, but if I happen to watch a video that I don't want recommendations on in the future, I manually delete the video from my watch history.

I don't know if that really helps, but at least as a placebo it feels good to do.

  • Having only played BG3 and bouncing off of it relatively quick, I’d say the other one.

  • So I had a funny thing happen to me with the cans of these.

On an international flight this summer, I asked for a Coke Zero from the attendant. She quickly reached down in her cart and pulled a darth maul can and handed it to me. I didn’t think about it, but then realized it was a regular Coke. With an episode one character on it???

So I flagged her down when she was near and said, “Hey, I think there might have been a mistake. You said you had coke zeros, could I swap this one out for one? Also…how old are these cokes?”

She looked at the can and laughed seeing darth maul on it. “I think they are new, but didn’t this movie come out 25 years ago?”

    “That’s what I thought!” I said.

“Well if you want to keep it as a collectors item you can,” she joked. I said maybe not this time. She pointed out that the can looked really close to the standard Coke Zero cans if you squint (which is true), and when they were doing meal service she just didn’t even notice.

Pretty fun little experience. I looked it up and they had just come out that week, maybe even a couple days before the flight.

  • Sure it isn’t wink wink

  • Ol' Tim "I agree with everything JD Vance said during our debate" Walz over here.

I actually don't blame him for that, really. The campaign started off great and then they got too scared. Instead of leaning into what was working, they backed off and neutered Walz.

  • Oh no. My grandmother is 92 and my grandfather is 93 and my great grandfather passed at 102.

I don't know if I want to live that far. I better start drinkin'.

  • Elden Ring, the game where people choose to play the PS4 version on the PS5 because the PS5 version isn't optimized well, doesn't run that great on the Switch 2?

    Crazy.

  • Exactly.

Even college graduates need time to learn and build experience as they work up the ladder. A lot of theory and stuff someone might learn in college won't necessarily be what they'll find in the job world.

  • I also don't exactly know what it means. I have heard it in a song lyric or two, but have never known someone to say it in conversation.

  • I voted by mail in 2020. It was super easy and convenient - which is why republicans hate it.

  • Stupid ass shit.

  • Instead of having kids I have decided to go on good vacations every year.

AND I don’t have a bunch of grey hair. It’s great!

  • I do! I enjoy camera modes in games a lot, too. I like to look at the architecture in games because I think it’s fascinating.

For BF, though, I do think a little playground would be great. Since they have that map builder tool, I may end up just having to make one myself.

Especially for adjusting piloting controls. If you try to do that while playing a normal match you may not ever even get to fly a chopper to see if you made a good change, for example. I played the beta all day on Saturday and didn’t get a chance to fly anything during that time.

  • By Graham's logic "God" is OK with genocide.

So why should I worship this god?

  • Hollywood is starting to make me dislike Pedro Pascal only because he's in EVERY DAMN THING.

I actually like the guy, but overexposure is a thing. And he could stand to just chill for a little while.

  • I was very fortunate to go on a vacation last month in Belgium where we rode bikes to several different towns.

It was awesome, but the cobblestone streets in some of those old cities are ROUGH. Just bone shaking. The chain on the bike I was riding bounced off once when I needed to shift.

  • The justice department welcomed Trump’s revocation of the order, saying it was pursuing an “America first antitrust” approach focused on free markets instead of what it called the “overly prescriptive and burdensome approach” of the Biden administration.

So getting rid of the pro-competition stuff will help the free market? Sure, Jan.

  • We all know that one book in the Bible where Jesus is strapped.

  • I'm old enough to remember when MS said Windows 10 would be the last Windows and they'd just update it over time.
