  • Looks like shit

  • Instead of using DoorDash, developers – and civilians – code up their own food delivery apps, all of which compete, fragment the market, and destroy the margins of legacy businesses. Business for Uber and other ride-sharing apps also evaporates. Instead of using Visa and Mastercard, AI agents decide to do all business in cryptocurrency, because transaction costs are cheaper. This guts traditional payment providers.

To Citrini, this is a logical endpoint for tireless AI agents that have the time and capability to optimise everything. “Habitual app loyalty, the entire basis of the business model, simply didn’t exist for a machine,” it writes.

    Seems plausible /s

  • KY P.40, PARA 125 [REDACTED BUT RETRIEVABLE TEXT]

The ‘TikTank’ [internal TikTok group studying issues affecting TikTok] Report observed that “Tiktok is particularly popular with younger users who are particularly sensitive to reinforcement in the form of social reward and have minimal ability to self-regulate effectively.”

Well, they are targeting young users because it's a biological fact that they can't control themselves very well, meaning that their brains are not fully developed yet. This is like making profits from people with diabetes by selling expensive insulin; if they don't get it, they die.

TikTok should answer legally by its actions, as well as other industries.

  • Wooow, I didn't know any of this. Thanks for the detailed explanation

  • I think that scientists embracing AI so naively as this guy contribute to a larger discredit in science. Probably we will have in the future antivax people saying that " such and such vaccines were made of AI slop".

  • Right?
