  • There goes TeslaFi… fuck. I use that all the time to see my global map and keep track of my stats (like power usage on long drives), and auto enabling of certain features at certain times, like heat/ac after work.

  • Kingdom Hearts 1 had 4.5 hours of cutscenes, and that game came out in 2002. “Nearly 4 hours” is nothing, imo.

  • Yea, I’ll very softly grumble before/after passing an encampment if they’re taking up a sidewalk that I need to walk on, or both sidewalks on a street. However, I put up with it. It’s bullshit that they have to live like this.

  • Use penumbra mods for that cake.

  • I was thinking of this remix as soon as I saw someone asking for a definition. It’s the best.

  • Most of the US doesn’t, or you need a “valid” excuse, which usually doesn’t include working. I’m lucky to live in a state that does default mail in voting.

  • Not everyone that didn’t vote supports this. Some people just couldn’t get the day off because they’re living day by day and couldn’t take a day off to wait in line for 5 hours at the one polling place in their city.

  • Amateur’s etymology is “amator” meaning lover. It’s ok to be an amateur. It shows you’re enjoying yourself and interested. You don’t need to be the best, just do what is fun to you. Life’s too short to be a jack of all trades professional.

  • Just like I’ve been telling my queer friends: some days you fight; some days you rest. You cannot fight if you don’t take care of yourself.

  • You know they aren’t forcing you to use the bundled stuff, right?

  • AP still hasn’t called her. And they have 212 RNC and 200 DNC. So if it’s 201, then republican need 6 to claim majority now.

  • Either that or states aren’t doing mail in voting since we’re not in the middle of a pandemic, so democrats had to work and didn’t get a chance to vote.

  • All votes are not counted yet. There’s still a chance he won’t get the popular vote. A tiny chance, but still a chance…

  • Right? Like that’s why I click on a video most of the time when I see “X hours old”.

  • I paid $830/month for a moderately priced car at only 2.9% for a few years. 1/3 my current yearly salary in full. It wasn’t smart, but I beat inflation at that rate. That car let me and my wife travel so much in our early marriage and it was so worth it. The car is more expensive now then when I bought it.

I love that car and it brought me joy. It’s paid off now.

Tomorrow is not promised. Save for the future but don’t neglect being happy today. Go live a little.

  • Exactly. It can summarize emails, so I don’t need to open everything I get. If it looks important, I’m gonna open it and read the whole thing, but an OK summary is good enough for most notifications.

  • Whales

    Jump
  • In FFXIV, most multi people mounts are paid for, but they did have an event where they have one that can hold 4 people. There is a paid mount that holds 8 people, and it’s a whale. It’s the most expensive mount at just $42. There is no reason you should want to carry 8 people because everyone should have a mount.

  • Yep! I did it for a final project, called DANK WEB. We implemented an airhorn counter. We found out the day before that it just stored the value it saw +1 to the DB so a bad actor could reset the count. Then we easily figured out that we could just reference the DB so we fixed the bad actor part.

We got a 98 on the final. It was the most fun I had on a project in all of college.
