Shine Get

  • I mean, it wasn’t an unhealthy amount!

  • Spreading kindness to strangers, treating people with respect, and being a force for good on the internet is something everyone should aspire to.

Also I ate way too much glitter than usual this one time and I’ve never been able to live it down. Embrace, extend, shine.

  • And honestly, I find his phrasing today far more damming with its conciseness. It screams leadership.

  • And it vacuums up personally identifiable information, and even tracks your location. No fucking thank you.

  • A lovely bunch of regurgitated, half-baked advice all to just be a product pitch from some vendor.

  • Please can you share a link to the recipe or write up how you made them as they look both stunning and utterly delicious!

  • It does need! I wonder if they’re using an open source library or wrote it themselves. I’ll have to go dig through the GitLab source code. Thank you.

  • What tool did they use to make that diagram? Looks awesome!

  • Peter Jackson’s King Kong

  • No one knows about this game that was huge at the time, produced and directed by cinema and video game legends, sold millions of copies, supported by a sprawling ad campaign, critically praised across the board, and won numerous awards.

    No one.

  • I’m sorry if you’re not appreciated enough where you work and I just want to say a deep thank you for what you do - you keep the wheels turning. I used to be friends and neighbours with our custodian (before they moved to a warmer country and we lost touch) and having seen the state of the office in just one day without my buddy when he was off sick (people are such animals), it’s people like you that make a place nice and uplifting to be in. Thank you, fishos.

  • Really great advice!

I actually find that having the ultrawide has been better for my neck as I use the centre of it as a 16:9 coding area with two 8:9 sides for docs, browser etc. I move my neck less and only my eyes. It’s awesome!

  • I think you mean hard liquor.

  • I have this monitor and I still encounter Python code that I have to scroll horizontally for.

  • Anyone got a non-paywalled link?

  • Paywalled articles suck

  • Apple are almost certainly planning a non “pro” model that will be much cheaper and the pro’s high pricing drives discussion, exclusivity, which leans in on their aspirational brand modus. Thus, the non-pro model will likely have absurd sales as people rush to finally buy in at their price level.

I don’t support it or like it but Apple have been following this playbook for decades now and unfortunately it really works.

  • Where’s the repo? I don’t see a link. Really nice work!
