  • Woohoo, my first! Thank you kind Sir.

  • I actually can! Still had the pack laying around.

Looks like the recipe is 63% cotton, 35% nylon and 2% lycra.

Don't ask me where to get them, they were a Xmas gift (no, not kidding) from my sister.

  • That's one of my socks they're pulling on, btw. Good quality socks, as it turned out.

  • Dogs @lemmy.world

    Three against one.. no fair!

  • Why are solo drinkers being singled out like that? It's delicious..

  • I only know for certain it's by law in Norway, and I suppose I just assumed it was for other European countries, too, since a shared bathroom is rarely to be seen.

  • What an astonishing creature.

  • First time I saw that sign I was baffled, as in most other countries I've been to it's illegal for employees to use the same facilities as guests. Then I got a bit grossed out thinking of the fact that employees apparently need to be reminded to wash their hands.

  • Yup, for some reason that's an expression in Norway

Edit: it's similar to holy cow, and a more accurate translation would probably be something like oh great alpaca.

  • As Donald Duck would've exclaimed, in Norwegian; Du store alpakka!

  • Not to mention your 5k piece puzzle.

  • And miss all the action?! /s

  • I see W Browne has been up to some shenanigans.

  • I've only been to Dallas once and I was really just passing through but I remember downtown being really "dead", in the sense that, at least after office hours, it was almost eerily quiet.

This was 15 years ago, though, and it might have been just the specific area I was in.

  • Gasket thickness typically don't matter (within reason). An exception being in installs where a thick gasket or, more likely, a spacer is used to keep some engine heat away from the carburetor to prevent things like vapor lock.

I wouldn't hesitate to use whatever is in the aftermarket kit as long as it fits well.

  • She has a fabulous cover, too!

  • It's been almost 20 years since he passed? Blimey..

  • I think the shadows fall on the windows. Like OP mentions above, the shadows are to control heat buildup in the building.

  • Of course, they're professionals and work at all hours of the day.

  • I can't recall where I read it (perhaps in a post on that other site), but supposedly it was indeed done to increase air flow to the radiator.

    An album cover worthy
