Let’s just fuck em all up then, right?
The plants still take 6 to 7 years to mature. If you think broadcasting that you can fuck up nopales because they produce paddles annually, you’re not promoting an environment that’s sustainable for the nopales.
You do you… but I think it’s not cool to fuck with them.
Don’t fuck with cacti. They live in an inhospitable place and take years to grow. Prickly pear cacti are more sustainable than other varieties, but still take years to mature. Enjoy them for what they are and leave them alone.
I really want one, but can’t stomach the price for what you get. Imma need something sub 10k… or something over 250 miles of range if it’s going to be 20k.
My EV gets between 280-300 miles on a charge and that works great. Any less will need to wait on more charging stations. Motorcyclists are known for wanting to ride highways over choosing interstates. Interstates have good charging infrastructure, highways… not so much.
… is what we’re livin’ in……
Take a slice of white bread and a single slice of American cheese. Microwave just long enough to make the cheese slightly burn… the phase just after bubbly will get harder when it cools. Top with hot sauce or spicy ketchup… but not too much. If you can find it, there is an Indian curry spruced ketchup that is awesome.
There are a lot of different structures for the contracts on charger installations. Sometimes the business owner pays the utilities, sometimes the charging company does. Sometimes the land is sold to the charging company, sometimes leased. Revenue from the charger is usually split between the charging company and the business based on the specifics of the contract responsibilities and costs, of which there is a lot of variability.
In short, some businesses pay more to have them installed and take more revenue from them. Some pay almost nothing and don’t get any revenue from the charger, other than increased traffic in their businesses. That doesn’t happen often, because most deals have the business owner paying the utilities for the chargers, so they recoup that plus profit. This article is saying that businesses are statistically showing benefits from having chargers nearby.
I know I look for chargers while I’m traveling and pick hotels, restaurants, and grocery stores that have EV chargers at them. As more EVs get on the road, this will probably be more of a factor businesses pay attention to.
Or when they can’t find enough workers and their crops die in the fields…
It also says the man is prone and restrained where the image clearly shows he is lying in a supine and restrained position.
30,000 / (365*4) = 20.548
More than 20 per day, everyday… for 4 years. That’s more than 1 per hour if you exclude the hours he was sleeping. And factoring in all his time playing golf instead of working, he pretty much didn’t say anything that wasn’t a lie.
That only really works if there are funds to pay for it. These firefighters are making $15 (per the article) for doing hot, labor-intensive work in dangerous environment and conditions. It’s hard to get recruitment numbers up for work like that without good pay. Bonuses can help, but it doesn’t sound like they are paying enough to attract the labor they need.
The article also says retention is hard and one of their biggest problems is the lack of ‘experienced’ firefighters. It’s definitely going to be tough to keep people coming back at pay rates that are less than what minimum wage would be if it had kept up with inflation.
It did pass and is tied to performance of the company. He doesn’t actually get a 55B bonus. His bonus is in the form of stock, its award is tiered based on revenue-tied performance, and he can’t sell the stock until 5 years after it’s awarded, as to prevent a pump-and-dump incentive structure.
False. Any good lounge should have you reclined and looking naturally towards the joint between the wall and ceiling. Having a tv that is at eye line while you are sitting vertically is not comfortable when you are lounging. You end up crooking your neck down.
It’s apples and oranges for how you prefer to lounge, but I hate TVs placed even with eye-level while I’m standing if I am in a legit lounge. I recognize that other people like to be more vertical while they sit, as I’ve had this argument with a close friend… but for me, the lounge is king.
No, but he is finding out why twitter had all of its policies on combatting misinformation before he took over and gutted the staff… to prevent getting sued. You can say anything you want in America and the government can’t tell you that you aren’t allowed to say it, but you are still accountable for the damages caused by what you say… just ask Alex Jones.
But operating in other countries doesn’t afford the same protections from government scrutiny.
Disinformation campaigns are part of the reason social media is causing as much social strife in the world. It is not outside a logical line of thought that governments are going to attempt to minimize the damages from platforms like Twitter when they can. You may not beat misinformation, but you can minimize the financial incentive to promote it if you fine the fuck out of it when you find it.
