  • Ice and snow. Rock and sand.

  • It's all fun and games until you brake and the whole thing slides down and covers the front windshield and you can't see anything. Source: I was lazy about this once, but never again.

  • Building a PC isn't that difficult, but it costs a lot right now. Maybe just wait for the Steam Machine to be released and consider that.

  • SM is dogshit even though I am fond of DS2. The Brotherhood of Blood arena is a good place for PvP though. Still quite active.

  • Ketchup

  • Their songs The Scientist and Clocks are emotive and memorable. Besides those they sound like a safe and watered-down mid era Radiohead.

  • So close!! That is a shape 💕

  • Makes me think about that person that kept popping up posting about their obsession (fetish?) with disembowelment disguised as questions and shower thoughts. Welcome to Lemmy, btw!

  • Getting lost. I like exploring until I'm done exploring, and then I have a low tolerance for wandering aimlessly. I don't need an indicator and a map to tell me where to go, but I appreciate a sign post or NPC to nudge me in the right direction if I need it. Sometimes level/world design does not help in areas that look samey, so landmarks or some sort of unique feature are appreciated.

  • Once every 1 or 2 weeks. I like to have some stock in case of bad snow storms, or if I just don't feel like going.

Nothing goes to waste. That's what the freezer is for, and then it goes into soup eventually. Meal planning also helps. I have a dry erase board on the fridge so I can plan ahead and have a "menu" of what's prepared.

  • Have you played Lunacid? It's recent but I feel like it's slipped under the radar for a lot of people. DLC is coming soon, too.

Shinobi on PS2. I haven't played it in decades but I remember enjoying it. People say it's very difficult but I was able to beat it as a kid.

  • I'm replaying DS2 as a pyromancer. There isn't actually a starting class for it though, so I rushed to grab the pyro hand and am trying to keep it legit.

There aren't really any soulslikes I'm looking forward to. Code Vein 2 is coming this month, but I won't play it until it's on sale, maybe 1-2 years from now. More likely I'm going to play some old ones that are on the radar as they go on sale. Everything else is kind of looking the same to me, too flashy and expensive.

  • FL Studio, a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). There are different tiers which you can upgrade from any time. You get free updates forever.

  • Sounds exactly like a personality disorder called narcissism.

    Would you play it?

  • It doesn't matter how silly rolling is. Souls combat is peak

  • You're right. I forgot!

  • Pretty well I'd say. The levels felt similar to Remnant 2. Combat, too. The class and "gift" system gives a lot of customizability that I didn't fully embrace due to bonk build, but I think there's a lot of replayability with different styles. Besides anime aesthetics it has a lot of story which you may love or hate. Most bosses were solid though it's possible to over-level or rely on your optional ally to make it too easy sometimes. Overall I'd give it around 7/10, definitely worth a play if it's on sale.

  • I'm the same as you. Even if I want something and can afford it, I will hold back longer than necessary. Sometimes I just don't end up buying the thing, and I'm fine.

It's much easier to justify practical purchases, or just save the money. I think this comes from living with financial struggles and wanting to be prepared.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it, and it may be beneficial to be frugal and picky about your spending. Clearly it's working if your budget is planned and in action. Just remember it's ok to treat yourself once in a while and enjoy it.
