  • It's normal because so many people are confused about it and how to use Fediverse services, particularly with all the options available. Like with Reddit you just go to reddit.com and you're there. Even people who are on Mastodon (probably the most popular Fediverse app) might not know how to use Lemmy. It's gonna take time for it to grow to Reddit levels. Meantime, best thing to do is advertise Fediverse accounts; share @FediTips@social.growyourown.services which has good guides on how to use the Fediverse (including Lemmy), share Lemmy posts on other media where possible, and maybe add some of your favorite communities on your Mastodon or other account profiles.

  • Ghislaine Maxwell?

  • ‌ Crosspost away 👍️ anything that gets eyes on moving the platform forward is a positive in my book. Just let me know where you posted it so I can follow the discussion.

  • That'd be awesome. I know you've got a lot on your dev plate, but I think the feature would go a long way toward helping the usability and adoption of lemmy.

  • ‌ I was just wondering if there was a way to make a post with multiple pictures that you can navigate one at a time with the arrow buttons or clicking next, without them taking over your screen and having to scroll down to see them. So they wouldn't be displaying all at once, which is the whole point. I'm not a web development guy so I'm not familiar with the technical aspects of how it works or the limitations; I was only asking in case someone knew a way to do it, or if it was a planned feature in future versions of Lemmy.

  • Lemmy @lemmy.ml

Is there still no way to attach an image/photo group album collection or slideshow on the post header, and if it's being worked on, where can I follow the development?

  • I haven't found evidence of this, other than the obviously edited Marvel comics panel, let alone this one.
