I am a time-traveling dolphin. An entity made of giant balls gave me the ability to breathe underwater, but this ability was recently stolen from me by aliens.

Sometimes I turn into a bird.

  • While your statement is true, I was only pointing out they don't have the first amendment.

(Yes, it is bad the police seized this stuff)

  • This happened in Australia

  • On selling services to law enforcement: I disagree. You would want your E2E encryption platform to be respected and recognized by law enforcement, so they don't just think "oink oink, only criminals use this service, this guy must be a criminal!"

I recommend this defcon talk if you haven't watched it (I think its the right one, TOR developer talks about why he teaches federal agencies how to use TOR)

  • IMHO, the scale is too large for a cover up like that. There's too many individuals, companies (many of these email addresses are gmail, yahoo... private email servers) and foreign governments involved.

Many of these emails are in an evidence room already from the 2008 (edit: I guess I'm assuming here for 2008) and 2019 court cases. If you mess with them too much, just for example, some random federal or state level DOJ employee could leak stuff, personal risk be damned. Or, another example, some foreign government might decide causing societal chaos in the USA is worth more than protecting Lord Toucheskids and release what they have.

The only reason they're releasing anything at all is because they have to maintain the illusion of a working DOJ and congress. Too much of the American public is truly mad about this stuff to just ignore an act of congress about it. They released the files in the most optimum way for their goals IMHO: literally everything, an unorganized firehose full of duplicates, random redactions, and a few FBI tip-line interviews that are provably untrue, along with the true ones, and the indeterminate. It'll take forever to sort through it all, and Trump/others implicated are banking on it.

    1. Bill Gates doesn't work for Microsoft anymore.
    2. I'm not comfortable giving my money to companies run by pedophiles. I think most people don't like doing that. This isn't a court of law - we're not sending them to prison. You're allowed to say "where there's smoke there's fire" and do something else with your dollars.

This shit is so prevalent its going to be hard, but I can act on the information I do have, so can you.

  • I always just assumed I was too weird to effectively algorithmicly advertise to. I'm far away from the average American by a lot of measures and my interests are very niche.

When I get suggestions or ads they feel like they are for someone else a lot (I like your blowjob machine example, many ads assume I'm male and lonely even though I'm a woman. Maybe that demographic is so lucrative and I'm so hard to sell to that I get those ads)

  • hold on homie I have a meme for this already

  • I'm going to take a different stance to a lot of the posters here.

Your friend may be showing signs of undiagnosed mental illness.

If you value him, listen to him and confront him when he has broken away from reality. But don't argue with him. Be firm in your disagreements but don't argue.

Be supportive of him if you can. Make sure he has a support network (parents siblings others)

Sometimes mental illness does not manifest until early adulthood.

Know your limits. Care for yourself.

  • Their goal is to cause unrest so they have an excuse to cancel the midterms

  • You know, honestly? I didn't do any like, testing to see how much impact each had. I just used some recommended settings like setting the kernel to PREEMPT and setting mitigations=no (this is a minor security risk, I am spectre vulnerable but this is a performance increase)

My CPU is very old and I have a newer graphics card, so I figured this would help but I didn't do any concrete testing. Seems fine.

Edit: also I had to set my CPU governor to performance. Debian had it on some low-power default setting (forgot now) and this DID matter, a lot, way more than any kernel argument. I control it some other way than a kernel arg, tho

  • fwiw I'm running Debian 12 and had no issues getting steam to run, and all games I've tried run great (with a few exceptions but not many).

I really really wouldn't recommend Debian as an OS for games. It's a server/workstation OS. I use it because I like Debian, not because it's a good idea.

I remember changing my grub config to pass arguments to the kernel for gaming performance. I bet you wouldn't need to do this on a distro designed for gaming like Bazzite.

  • Oh ya I get that, but in general that's what the phrase makes me think of

  • I don't like the phrase. It just feels bad, idk. If she put in effort to wear nice underwear for you, its probably one of many little details she put into your date. Idk. I'm kind of a prude.

It also kind of feels like something a dudebro might say later after he pressured his drunk date into something she didn't want to do.

  • how do i stop the mind goblins

how do i. STOP the mind goblins

    hhhhhhhhhhh

  • No, I wrote it myself.

  • Hello everyone did you need someone in here being a complete pedant? Here I am!

I would spell this slopperator, not sloperator. Putting only one consonant between O and E makes this read "SLOPE-r-ator", like the slope of a hill. Also, there's precedent, if you have a lot of slop, maybe you're sloppy (two p's).

Sloperator sounds like someone who really likes linear regression.

  • It's also untrue.

    Watch: Fuck

  • Yup

    Jump
  • The shape of the dragon's head also changes in panel 4 in the OP vs panel 1. Its very... strange.

Something feels off about this comic.
