I'm pretty sure the dead Pope wouldn't ask for more respect to be given to him than to the living people of Ukraine and to the thousands of Ukrainian people who have died to defend a free Europe.
Why does "productivity" need to be the end? I like some degree of randomness because it makes my life more interesting and enjoyable. In a way, that can make me more productive if I feel more inspired or motivated by it. But I do it because I like it: taking a random road on my daily commute, talking to a random person and seeing what happens, trying a random new restaurant, etc. I have a highly random life with very little routine or predictability.
When I visited Cuba, I found it super creepy that they were selling CDs with the title "Singing Songs to Che Guevara" that looked like Christian worship music praising Che instead of Jesus. I expect this will happen soon with Trump in the US, if it hasn't already.
