They probably mean it more in the sense of common, regular, standard or majority. If I say I'm a normal bloke happy with my gender, I'm not trying to shit on trans people, I'm just talking about myself.
I mostly want an eBike to cycle to my BJJ gym, which is in a seedy area. No way would I be prepared to trust an exxy bike locked on the street. I picked up a cheap racer which is more effort, but will do the trick just fine.
Firefighters get exposed to a lot of PFAS from the fire suppressant foam. Firefighters who donated blood regularly had lower levels of blood-PFAS than non-donors. Donating blood might be one current option to reduce your PFAS levels.
One of the things I'm hoping to see in eBikes is some kind of security key that disables the motor. No key, no motion. The main reason I'm not prepared to spend a few thousand on a nice eBike is because I can't lock it anywhere outside because of thieves.
Headline aside, if you're on $150k p.a. you should have an ample emergency fund and frankly aim to live below your means while earning that kind of money in such a volatile employment field.
I also had a lifetime subscription. I think like with many of these things, they might've included a usage monitor rather than a carte blanche closing of accounts. I rarely used it once someone told me Opera had a built in VPN but it'd still be nice to have it available. I would've used less than 1gb a year, maybe less than 100mb. I haven't used at all in in the last three years. What harm does my account bring to their financial outcome?
Sure, but we're not going to suddenly move to some Star Trek commie utopia. For now, developers need to get paid. Either I goto work and make money (burning carbon) to pay for it, or advertising (toxic) pays for it, or crypto mining (also toxic). How does this developer, living under capitalism, buy food, housing and medical without something to make money? Goodwill donation links are unlikely to cut it.
