  • Charlie's views were mainstream on the right. So when you say that, what the right hears is that you are wishing death on a third of our country. Bernie may or may not actually agree with you, but he isn't stupid enough to say it out loud if he does.

  • Their reach was actually pretty similar although it is hard to make a linear comparison. The number I'm seeing for Jimmy Kimmel is that he averaged about 1.7 million views for his show. Charlie Kirk worked in a different platform and put out tons of videos, some only got 100K views, some were over 12 million. He has about 5 million followers.

  • I don't have any strong opinions yet. If you do, you're probably getting ahead of what we really know.

  • I'll check it out when it's under $5. At this rate, maybe next year's winter sale? I have a rig that is reportedly already able to play it but I don't pay full price, ever. Even games I really want, and this ain't it.

  • I had never noticed public transport stops being missing in maps, but that is probably because there are no public transport stops where I live. I had noticed it always greys out the bus when I ask for directions though.

  • Right?

  • The right has the same charts showing left wing violence dominating. I think both are disengenuous. Statistics are a bitch, they'll fuck whoever you want them to.

  • I don't know. Charlie Kirk's beliefs are pretty mainstream for the right and so many were celebrating his death. Both sides rarely hear from the quieter voices though, they only hear from the loudest and most offensive because that gets clicks and ad revenue.

  • My copay on each of my kids births was over $2k, one was $7k. A couple of those bills were close to $30k, not that we paid that much, but still.

  • Right?

  • When? The right is saying that was before he had a trans partner in college. Me, I don't know shit.

  • I mean, the left thinks the right is evil too. And gerrymandering is everywhere. It's harder to find states that aren't trying to disenfranchise the minority than ones that are. Blue and red. And no, this isn't saying both sides are the same, but the leadership on both sides wants to win by any means possible. At the moment the left is slightly more divided than the right I think. But as the right gets high on power and inevitably pulls the next level of crazy, the left will unite again, temporarily.

  • In theory this is something most dem and rep voters would get behind, as long as election integrity also included voter ID. It's the politicians who want to cheat more than anyone, not most voters.

  • My 2020 Crosstrek with a manual is pretty good. The only things on the little touchscreen is the radio, backup camera, and android or apple for navigation. Also it isn't integrated into the whole car so it can be replaced with an aftermarket unit. It has none of the blind spot monitoring, lane assist etc. It's a lot of fun to drive on back roads, although it could use just a little more power.

  • People who say these things never post their address.

  • They sent me a survey. I told them they're driving me to Linux and libre office.

  • This. I'll leave YouTube when I can have a similar experience and support all of my favorite content creators somewhere else. Until then, everything else is just a lame video hosting site I'm not interested in.

  • Age 51, I can't sneak anywhere, but I'll still get faded a bit with you, as long as I can get to bed on time. I'm up before 6am even if I don't want to be.

  • Better out than in, I always say.
