Man, I thought I was up on the current slang, but this one is new to me!

  • doesn't matter; had snusnu

  • Never put your dick in clouds of sulfuric acid.

  • I'm not even going to check if this is a real thing or not, because I feel like I'd be disappointed either way.

  • That was clearly not a sniper, but Candlejack making a comeb

  • This made me realize that it would be really hard to distinguish between a satirical NDT quote and something I have earnestly and profoundly thought to myself while 2 edibles into a nature documentary. And I'm not sure how to feel about that.

Man, leave it to the Germans to ruin a silly game 😑

  • Or just set a rule that you use the same ball the entire match. Balls wears out? Tough titties... improvise, adapt, and overcome.

  • Good question. I believe the card companies used to have language in their agreements stating that vendors were not allowed to specifically charge fees for card usage. So you used to occasionally see places offering a discount for cash like you said.

But I have been seeing more and more places outright stating a card fee, so I wonder if those agreements have changed in the last several years.

Not sure where you are located, but A quick search says that there are some US states with laws banning card surcharges, but most allow them.

Unfortunately, you know those fees were baked into pricing structures long ago, so any place charging an extra fee for card usage is definitely double-dipping.

  • At first I thought they just didn't install the cooler, and figured... well, if the CPU didn't come with one, I can see how one might overlook that, especially if they came from the olden days before coolers were mandatory.

Then I saw it..... I honestly don't know if mounting the CPU cooler as a case fan is better or worse!

  • That's an awfully snarky reply to someone who is correct.

  • Lighten up, Clarence.

  • I mean they both cover all the essentials:

Spaceships? ✅️ Gunfights? ✅️ Banging theme song? ✅️ Sarcastic loner captain?✅️ Will-they-wont-they hottie with her own shuttle? ✅️ Sassy corgi? Okay, I guess Firefly falls short there.

  • If you're into anime, Cowboy Bebop comes pretty close to the whole rag-tag crew in a sci-fi western vibe.

  • Nah, they are right. I'm probably solidly on the neurotypical scale by most counts, but the best I can do is accepting those thoughts or not allowing them to derail me--typical mindfulness stuff. But I've never heard of anyone being able to just turn off thinking on command (drugs don't count).

The better analogy would be like being able to read the notification and put the phone back down.

  • What if I put pizza in my butt?

  • To be fair, it does protect them from danger...

...the danger one should normally face as a result of doing unconstitutional things.

  • If those icons reacted to taps and swipes like actual fluffy fabric, I'd move heaven and earth to install it on my phone.

Reminds me of the style of the recent Kirby games.
