  • Dwh:

    • the light bulb is broken.
    • asks marketing what kind they want, after a week they answer halogen.
    • dwh then asks backend who says halogen is deprecated, and says only LED is available, due to fire risks.
    • in the meantime, marketing got tired of waiting, orders a halogen bulb and doesn't tell dwh, and manages to install it, even though it's the wrong socket.
    • The light flickers and could break any second, but marketing is happy
  • That is wild! In Denmark I buy rice for 15 kr (~2€) / kg. Granted, it's probably nowhere near the quality of Japanese rice. But still, what a price difference.

  • My language is already taken so here's another language where I know the word: 奶酪 (nailao), first character meaning milk, second one I had to look up for the definition: "semi-solid food made from milk"

  • all you had to do was follow the god-damn experimental design, CJ

  • I've set up a recurring payment - thanks for the great work!

  • Missed opportunity to have "is pussy-tively charged" as bottom text 😸

  • My parents flew from Denmark to Canada for a month, when I was 3 months old. So I reckon you could. Depends on you, your partner, and your kid, on whether you feel comfortable travelling.

  • Nice, sounds very cool!

  • You could perhaps just flash the lights, or if they're dimmable, turn them a lot down over eg a duration of 20 seconds

  • In Denmark you pay after the session - I've been one place where it's monthly invoicing, and another where it was payment after each session (by credit card I think)

  • I've switched to qobuz and like it.

  • True, that's a good point :)

  • Protip: ask your favourite llm to write you a python script to convert between the formats you're interested in. Bonus benefit: simultaneously learn a bit about programming!

  • To me the most interesting part is the following with bold

They found the emissions per kilogram of protein of even the most efficient grass-fed beef operations were 10 to 25 percent higher than those of grain-fed U.S. beef — and many times as high as those of plant and animal alternatives.

  • Very cool video! Thanks for sharing.

  • Can you link bac bling? I don't think I find the right thing 😄

  • Samme her. Er fan!
