I mean, I've worked at a number of hospitals in the US and never seen a recycling receptacle for our waste. Our waste either goes in a biohazard bag to be incinerated, sharps containers to be disposed of (altho not sure in what way), or a regular trash can to presumably in a landfill.
Not sure if other countries are different, but I can't imagine they sort through our biohazard waste bags for plastic materials.
Yeah I have heard that online so I went for a walk today. I did ok on the walk but then I stopped at a shop on the way home which involved moving my head and eyes around more and then I had to cross the street which made it even worse. So basically now I feel like I'm dying. I felt a little bit better after resting, but now even very small head movements make it really bad and I am even dizzy and nauseous without even moving. :((
If you don't mind me asking, what type of a facility is this? The long walk with fences on either side to the offset small building makes for an interesting pic.
Yeah that bit has always confused me. I get that they shouldn't be killed too long before cooking to prevent spoilage...but with basically any other animal, we kill it first, not cook it alive. So wtf? Why not just kill it quickly and then throw it in the pot?
So I get that socially in most places it is not acceptable for women to go totally topless. We can argue about double standards, but I'll let other people do that.
What I actually have noticed is that nowadays in a lot of Western cultures, women can get away with just wearing just a bra with no shirt in public. No, it's still not being totally topless, but it is a lot better heat-wise than wearing both a bra and then a shirt on top. Just it can't be like lingerie, but more like a sports bra or something. I've done it when heading into a shop after going for a run and not gotten any complains. I see others just occasionally walking around in something a sports bra when it's hot out, not even relating to intense exercise. Try it.
Dude the internet gets so triggered when an ounce of junk food gets even remotely near an animal. Junk food is also bad for humans lol. My cat gets a healthy diet but sometimes he gets curious and shoves his face in my coffee mug or whatever for a second lol. He's fine.
