What do these diagnoses have to do with learning? In my experience, these conditions can manifest in many different ways for people.

At the hospital I worked at there were no transmissions of COVID from known infected patients to providers wearing N95 masks (at least in the first 2 years, I didn’t keep up with it after that). So if you are wearing N95s you should feel quite confident that you are protecting yourselves without requiring behavior modifications from anyone else.
This was a really nice tech review! I think she took a sensible approach and didn’t bog it down with advertisements for new features no one cares about.
I do not think it is appropriate to talk about any details, but something somewhat adjacent to this is that a lot of my colleagues didn’t go into pediatrics because they hate dealing with parents.
Switched to smart mobas, I assume?
I have met multiple people from across the USA who specifically learned about “the fertile silt of the Nile river delta.”
When I lived in Seattle I met a few good running friends by joining a Green Lake running group. I lived in the Greenwood/Fremont area and found a group through the Super Jock and Jill or Fleet Feet. I would go to the running gear stores and ask about a weekly running group.
I was going to say the EXACT same thing. People even are refusing the vitamin K shot in their newborns
This is a quite delayed response, but it was essentially your second question. I went with friends who watched a lot of the MCU movies and they were trying to explain everything to me in real time. I eventually just asked them to save their breath because the backstory was so long. I did enjoy the spectacle of the movie, though the impact was lost on me.
I only saw Endgame and I thought it was okay. So I would say it’s my least favorite and that’s because it’s the only one I’ve seen. I guess it’s also my favorite.
Jimi Hendrix’s All Along the Watchtower
This ain’t short king energy
When I was using Librewolf maybe 4 years ago, it was never up to date with Firefox. I thought it could be a potential security risk, sometimes it took months to incorporate Firefox security updates. Has that improved recently?
I think this is totally reasonable, and a very forward thinking imagining of what the future of the internet could be like. I just thought that the analogy you made in the previous comment was a good one to poke fun at.
I like the idea of being able to run elasticsearch/whatever on a local copy of the full text of all of your bookmarks.
It’s like having your books open, with a mark in the book for the page. A book mark, if you will
For you, I suggest sticking to Discord. I am of the mind that your effort should be focused on your community instead of enforcing a FOSS philosophy upon a group that may not have any interest in doing so.
If you are creating a new community, this is a different conversation, of course.
This is great advice. I think the smaller NAS is a prudent investment now, and the more capable server can come later. I think I don’t want to let perfect be the enemy of good and keep me from investing in a local storage solution.
I think this is great advice. You’ve made me realize that I’m entering a stage of my training that is notorious for lack of free time, so maybe I’ll leave the self build tinkering for another day. It is more important for me to get the local storage going sooner than later but I will plan on building a tinkering PC someday.
I honestly wonder if sortition is actually the answer.
