I’m not sure how to feel about understanding this now. Good, because I understand, or bad, because I’ll perpetually be annoyed from holding back the urge to correct.
I hit up that Wikipedia article every few years and I still don’t quite understand it. I also put nearly no effort into trying to understand it because I don’t think I’ve ever heard anything but the technically incorrect way.
While I was more specifically referring to dam projects in the US that displaced people as a direct comparison, you’re absolutely correct. That bastard Robert Moses fucked up our cities so badly.
Read about the construction of the Three Gorges Dam. Over a million people were forcibly displaced from their homes as a result. Many cities, towns, and villages were completely destroyed.
The US did this all the time back when we actually built things.
Oh, that’s a bummer. The cars I’ve been in with ventilated seats just have routing from the cars HVAC and 3 stage temp controls either direction. Cooled seats feel amazing, especially in dress clothes, it keeps you feeling fresh.
What do you mean let in outside air? It’s the same air going out of your vents. If you put it on recirculate your seat AC will be recirculated air too. The outside air is passing over the AC evaporator coils before going out of vents/seats so it’s already dehumidified.
The law doesn’t exist to raise your kids to do the right thing. This is a massive privacy violation.
