A moment of silence on the floor of the US House of Representatives over Charlie Kirk’s killing has turned into a shouting match between Republicans and Democrats.
The commotion began when Republican representative Lauren Boebert rose after the moment of prayer to ask that the House also say a prayer for Kirk, according to multiple lawmakers who were on the floor during the incident, Axios reports.
Democrats then shouted “what about the kids in Colorado”, referring to a school shooting in Colorado that also occurred on Wednesday afternoon. Boebert responded that she was about to reference that tragedy before she was interrupted, the report continues.
Republican representative Anna Paulina Luna, who worked as Kirk’s director of Hispanic engagement at Turning Point USA, then stood up and yelled at Democrats: “You caused this!”
That prompted a raucous Democratic response, with Democratic representative Jahana Hayes, a leader on the gun violence prevention task force, shouting: “Pass some gun laws!”
When Elon called the guy who rescued the kids a pedo, I thought is was really weird sour grapes because he did it before Elon could make his capsule and be the hero.
But now that I see just how ridiculously addicted to projection right wingers are, and how every accusation is a confession, I begin to worry that Elon liked the idea of being with traumatised kids trapped in a cave in a way that appealed to him in a much nastier way than I realised.
He doesn't have a problem with child molestation as long as it's a supported of him of him himself.
I begin to suspect that calling trans people pedophiles serves two purposes: hurt the image of trans people whilst helping the image of actual pedophiles.
He's trying to suppress talk of the Epstein files for the very obvious reason that he's in them more than anyone else.
Huh.I guess it's costing me about 5p per 100km and it's not going to bankrupt me, but it's definitely a lot more than I expected. Thanks for the link. There are some interesting articles in there.
The only thing you should put in your anus is your elbow.
No, wait, that's ears.
The only thing you should put in your anus is your ear.
No, no, that's still not right.
The only think you should put in your anus is something with a flared base.*
*If you're worrying about whether your boyfriend's penis has a flared base and you can't find a tape measure, recall that most penises are not readily detachable, and most boyfriends have hips wider than their penis, so you're in the clear.
If you're worried that this advice doesn't apply simply because you don't have a boyfriend, there's an app for that.
Do you not believe that a question can imply an opinion?
If that is the case, then for the love of god, let me know what opinion my question implied
Well for a start, you just reputed to my leading question as if of were an answer. Let's look at your innocent question just seeking information and see if we can't food an underlying attitude it might betray:
What is the significance of something being thrown out a window?
Well we could argue that the author of such a comment wasn't merely asking for an answer but also expressing an opinion that the answer was particularly non obvious.
So you might easily interpret this expressing the opinion that it was insignificant and that this story should be dismissed or ignored.
But who would see a neighbour throwing something out of a high window and not think it was drama?
You've spent two days denying that your question could possibly express an opinion that could possibly be disagreed with only to conclude immediately and correctly that my question was clearly an opinion that you instantly disagreed with.
And then to cap it all, you end with a little rant against Trump bashing, betraying the very opinion you were trying to pretend wasn't implicit in your "innocent" question.
So it turns out that your opinion is that Trump deserves a gentler, less critical ride from the public (which is frankly absurd for a president so gossipy, abusive, misleadingly critical, childishly name-calling and dismissive of others), and it turns out that your efforts to hide your trump-friendly stance behind an "innocent" question failed miserably and you've uselessly spent two days arguing with the one person who initially took you literally, convincing me more and more that you have an agenda you were trying to conceal.
Your outrage, defensiveness and persistence in claiming lack of bias not only betrayed that you felt strongly about something, but also led you in exasperation to say the quiet but out loud.
Trump is an overrated, nasty, greedy little self-serving weirdo and it's silly to pretend otherwise.
You know exactly why he's not releasing the Epstein files but you'd rather pretend to be baffled, as if you couldn't imagine the Liar in Chief dreaming of misleading the public about whether he's a child molester or not.
Mentally ill people who commit crimes, you say? You sure about that, Fox? Did you think that through?
