    Not promoting suicide. But my question is can someone with onset dementia and hire a person to put them down like a rabid dog? Or do I have to still be with it to jump off a building or bridge?

  • I don't know in the US. Here in Spain we have euthanasia law for those cases, so it would be done at the hospital (I think) after proper psychiatric evaluation.

  • I don't think is that much the age (above 18 please) than the knowledge that you are not taking advantage of that person (or knowing that that person is not taking advantage of you though this is harder to notice).

    If there's a huge age gap you will get looks. But the looks of others are not that important as long as you know that what you are doing is right.

    Are you taking advantage of the other person because of their age? If yes then don't do it. If no, please continue.

    And sea rising predictions made in the 90s haven't been the more accurate.

    The harmful consequences of climate change have more to do with desertification, hotter summers, more energetic storms. And of course the fear of breaking some oceanic current and send Europe into an ice age.

    In general is hard to say what will be that thing that will make people say "ok, we really fucked up". As it's incredibly hard to predict the consequences of such a fast climate variation. Sea level rise was the jam in the 90s early 00s but as predictions fall short on that front and even the worse numbers doesn't look like mass migration number for a few centuries at least, worries are more focused on other things that could happen.

  • On NASA defence is not the first time that due problems with vehicles an astronaut have to stay up there for much much much longer than their planed stance.

    At the end I think the astronaut said that 50 would be enough. So the NASA estimate wasn't really that far off. As it's totally normal for a woman to use half or double the tampons than other woman during period.

  • I needed a stable job so. And it was the easiest way to get it.

    After I chose to follow my passion and started working on that, which is my current job. Just to find out that not because you work in your passion your job is going to be fun.

    Then I realized than a job is a job. And most jobs are shitty. So I focused on working as little hours as possible and just enjoy my hobbies.

    Just because they couldn't wait 5 minutes to smoke another cancer stick they almost kill a person and spend the rest of their good years in jail.
