  • Have you tried changing the user agent to chrome?

  • You're right, wrong choice of wording on my part.

  • Could be cheaper enamel. Le Cruset specifically mentions it in their cleaning instructions

Bar Keeper’s Friend, or a paste of baking soda and water, also comes in handy for cleaning tough stains, oil residue and marks on your Dutch oven as well

I use it on my enameled dutch oven all the time and I've never had an issue.

  • Definitely this, but also if you are washing it and re-seasoning it after if you use too much oil it can cause it to get sticky.

  • You must have missed the donut shop "pop in"

  • I had a '92 Nissan D21 truck. I bought it in 2015 with 120k miles for $2000 in great condition. Drove it another 150k miles, only needed to replace the starter, shocks and struts, and a battery (with other regular maintenance of course). Sold it two years later for $2000. One of the best trucks I've ever had.

  • Being wealthy and being a "person of worth" are almost mutually exclusive nowadays.

  • I believe they are mostly not even ashes, just ground up bone fragments

  • The current governor of Vermont is a Republican. Vermont tends to vote for the person rather than the party.

  • Can we take a minute to address portion sizes?

  • I met that cat last year! Super friendly.

  • Credit card usually isn't so bad. It's usually pretty easy to dispute charges etc, debit card on the other hand...no way that's getting saved

  • Her sentence is actually 9 years

  • How does the math work out on that? I'm not quite sure what home prices are like in the UK, but let's say you bought a house for 350k and paid cash. That leaves 400k. You retire at 30, and conservatively have 40 more years to live. That's only 10k/year for the rest of your life. You still have expenses such as home insurance, car insurance, consumables, etc. Doesn't seem like much. To be fair I'm also not factoring in any kind of pension or social security or anything like that.

  • They are saying the return to office mandate will cause the best performers (who are likely more confident in securing another job) to quit first, not that everyone shouldn't be WFH.

  • "at that"... If you don't want to eat around other people that exist then just don't go to restaurants.

  • As a person living in Maine, I do love the legal weed but it's getting pretty annoying when every new business that opens is a dispensary. I have no idea how they all make enough revenue to stay open. Some blocks in Portland literally have 3+ dispensaries.

  • Firefox beta with ublock and a paywall block list, works perfectly for 99% of the web
