There is no healing of thy bruise; thy wound is grievous: all that hear the bruit of thee shall clap the hands over thee: for upon whom hath not thy wickedness passed continually?

  • There ain't much to get, either you like his music or you don't. I like it but i'm not a massive fan. I sing 17 Days a lot actually.

  • Awww shit, I forgot about Stranger Things. I think that's the exception rather than the rule however. I could be full of shit though. I was too lazy to research. I remember The Ritual only got a DVD release in the UK (which I bought) and a Blu-ray in Brazil which I can't find a copy listed anywhere. It doesn't seem a priority for Netflix at least.

  • So, are they not going to do DVD and Blu-Ray releases for warner films? Because Netflix crap never comes to DVD.

  • 20

  • Yeah it's a weird aspect ratio as well. I was watching it like this isn't 4:3. What the hell is it?

  • Oh, I forgot. My favorite part was

    the mermaid sex dreams.

  • Yeah, i'm still sitting on it. It's a great film no doubt. It's disturbing as all hell. The greek tragedy thing never really appealed to me though. I read Robert Pattinson said in an interview that the film is a comedy and I can see that. What's the saying; "Play comedy like tragedy and play tragedy like comedy"? Mission accomplished if that was the goal. The film is hilarious in a way.

  • That's one way to describe it I guess.

  • It's funny, when the credits rolled I had forgotten all about the light. As to what's inside, I think it's symbolic in some way. It doesn't really matter. The scariest thought to me is that there was nothing inside and he was driven mad for nothing.

I have the Arrow 4K disc as well. I was told it's a cinematic masterpiece and worth the price tag.

  • Paywalling subreddits was the last straw for me
