  • I didn't - I was just commenting on how its users are the new Arch users. It isn't a compliment.

  • NixOS is the new Arch. I'm surprised nobody here has said they use it yet.

  • Yes, he's such a patriot that he wants to ensure only Canadians have the right to fuck over other Canadians.

  • Pattison is an asshole but is somewhat of a patriot - they ran a bunch of pro-Canada messaging on their digital boards during the 51st state drama. Now excuse me as I go take a shower after defending him in the slightest.

  • DEATH PENALTY DECISION ISSUED! (there will be no death penalty)

  • "anything I don't like is treason"

  • For some reason a lot of y’all wanna bend over backwards to defend this shit.

    🙄

    Pray tell, what would these dumbfucks even know about science that it's worth leaking?

  • It's unlikely that these dorks are leaking military info (and why would the US even care?), but they should definitely be investigated. I think the real question is whether the US are using "force or violence", which would fall under C) and A)

  • Criminal charges are federal in Canada, but charges are laid by crown prosecutors in that particular province (never by the government itself)

    I don't think this actually meets the definition of treason, as they aren't using violence and are going the legislative/referendum route: https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/C-46/section-46.html

    1. Every one commits treason who, in Canada,

    a) uses force or violence for the purpose of overthrowing the government of Canada or a province;

    b) without lawful authority, communicates or makes available to an agent of a state other than Canada, military or scientific information or any sketch, plan, model, article, note or document of a military or scientific character that he knows or ought to know may be used by that state for a purpose prejudicial to the safety or defence of Canada;

    c) conspires with any person to commit high treason or to do anything mentioned in paragraph (a);

    d) forms an intention to do anything that is high treason or that is mentioned in paragraph (a) and manifests that intention by an overt act; or

    e) conspires with any person to do anything mentioned in paragraph (b) or forms an intention to do anything mentioned in paragraph (b) and manifests that intention by an overt act.

  • Wilhoit keeps winning.

  • Yes

    Jump
  • Obviously not, even setting aside the claim that immigration would reduce violence against women, which is definitely not the case depending on which ethnoreligious group we're talking about.

  • Maybe that was due to the die-off from COVID.

  • If you can't help but flash your bitcoin-shaped dick during a completely irrelevant conversation, I'm not the one who has a problem.

  • Oh neat it's Komorebi dude. I used to use that when I still had Windows.

  • You had me until the last line. Yuck.

  • I thought King Trump I decreed that ICE had total immunity from any eartly matters?

  • There are a lot of countries willing to mock them on their military might

    This is just people memeing on them for their lackluster performance in WWII. Say what you will about that, but they certainly learned their lesson - since then they've been a military powerhouse, frankly the only European country that consistently pulls its weight in that respect. If other EU countries were Gaullist their combined military would outclass the US.

    And that's not even getting into their "nuke first, ask quesitons later" policy.
