Uh it’s not an objective scale. This is the result of a survey

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is your preferred political ideology, and why?
23·4 months agoI’m a realist, I guess
So killing civilians helps?
One path requires a break from capitalism through a mass revolution and the other doesn’t
Then? More people have the incentive to break from this than not
Oil is only profitable for the people producing oil, which is not most people
Renewables+nuclear is cheaper and in a truly free market would beat out oil
We stop the oil propaganda. Without that, we do gradually stop using oil, because the alternatives are
- cheaper
- easier to obtain
- do not need dependency on Russia/middle east, which are both politically toxic

10·5 months agoCool. I’m getting off it so that they don’t think doing shit like this is okay
A democracy ideally should have checks against buying voters, not that these are effective maybe anywhere in the world, but I would hate to be a doomer and think this is something that can’t be fixed.
He probably thinks it isn’t real, rather than “it is not affecting me right now, but will probably be unmanageable in 20 years”

Emacs@lemmy.ml•"I" created a Stranger Things inspired theme for Emacs (using LLMs)
41·5 months agoOne might understand that posting LLM content in a community where people probably love FOSS and software freedoms, posting the output of something that has taken in a lot of GPL code and produces it on command (hence violating the license,) would not be seen favourably.
would you be mad if someone downvoted a comment about eating meat on a vegan community?

2·6 months agoI would love sudo-rs to be GPL but that’s orthogonal to the fact of it being bundled in distros. It’s still FOSS
