Indeed. I have had to replace my studio headphones multiple times because I broke them that way. My earbuds are great for travel - much smaller and easy to walk around with.

That’s so unfortunate. Were there any options that you could fiddle with that helped? I know that I tend to get dizzy after playing a lot of dark souls but never figured out anything that helped past not binging 🙃

I think the conflict comes from the philosophical opposition to the application being in control of such a thing. Title bars are for window management and application termination, which are beyond the purview of the application itself. GNOME decided that they wanted it to be something different and include application controls as well all on their own.

I’m afraid research and data settles debates more than personal anecdotes.
