  • Today is the 40th Anniversay of Zelda!

  • I remember playing Zelda I on an emulator. The progression was absolutely brutal since the game doesn’t give any hints on where to go. I don’t know how people back in the day did it without guides and walkthrough vids. Still an amazing game that was really ahead of its time (and I believe the first console game to save!)

  • It's definitely out of warranty by now. Think it was bought around 2018 from Costco. I don't believe the drive has been dropped but it has been moved several times.

  • YouTube adds new hurdles for ad blockers, and there's currently no way around it

  • YT search is completely broken. It used to be that the first 3-4 videos were relevant and the rest were YT shorts or stuff you previously watched. Now, not even the first result is related to what I search for. I have to use Google in order to get the video I actually want. Even incognito in YT doesn't help much nowadays.

  • To me most trans men who have fully transitioned (after T) are pretty much indistinguishable from cis men. Their looks and voice sound just like a cis man. While for many trans women, some things still come off like their voice and body shape even after HRT and surgery compared to cis women.

  • Every fandom has that NSFW side and it’s not specific to furries. There’s plenty of SFW furry art like the animation memes you see on youtube and websites like artfight. If you don’t want to see the NSFW stuff then just avoid going on those sites or communities; it’s really not that hard.

  • Same I’ve been to so many furcons and it’s a fandom full of geeks and nerds. The creativity of the community is awesome and it’s something you don’t see in any other fandoms. Them fursuits do be crazy expensive too and it’s really just a form of cosplay which is what people don’t understand.

  • Doesn’t matter if it's not enforced. We have no holding phone rules in GA and I routinely see people using their phones while driving.
