  • It's a decent enough game, but I don't really love it. The items are all so boring and the passives aren't much better. Wish there was actual run-changing items like in Isaac.

  • Discord too.

  • How very nice for you that you are healthy enough to be this ignorant.

  • Insurance companies don't have to follow laws, so good luck with that.

My state passed a law banning step therapy as of Jan. 1, 2025 and insurance companies here are still doing it to this day. I brought this up to one of my physicians and she wasn't even aware of the law.

    It's a total shit show.

  • Ooh good pick. You're right, this one hits you right in the feels

  • well godot games couldn't get much slower, so

  • Fluxer wants to have a 'monetization' to give payouts to 'creators.' Hard pass.

My wife and I have been using Stoat and it's been mostly fine, but they're already implementing age verification.

Stoat being based in UK makes me nervous as their laws are ridiculous. Devs claim that they are going to try to only apply draconian things when necessary but I have my doubts.

  • my solution is to make variants of my usual password that are so different I end up having to reset my passwords constantly. Lately, I've taken to writing my passwords on a piece of paper in my house, which means I can choose more unique ones

  • And this is why I always thought a password manager is a bad idea.

Centralizing your passwords means there is one really juicy target, that if compromised, ruins everything.

  • This doesn't follow. Even a thin client will have enough RAM to provide more gaming entertainment than you could possibly enjoy in a lifetime.

  • I think someone will get fed up enough to engineer a virus that removes greed and psychopathy from the entire human genome so that we can finally stop being ruled by greedy psychopaths. This will usher in a golden age of humanity

  • Why does firefox allow random people to farm all that information? That's the real problem here.

  • I consider not having access to reasonably-priced hardware an emergency ;(

  • This would be my answer too, but because it would instantly give me a much better understanding of the etymology of many words.
