  • American exceptionalism in the wild, folks.

  • The fact that you're comparing Wayland to XFCE tells us you're not entirely sure what you're doing. One is a compositor and the other is a distribution.

Your problems are with GNOME. I dont even think you could define what X11 and Wayland are based on your posts, much less articulate why one is better than the other

Start by reading about Wayland. Don't make shit up and defend a position you can't even articulate. It's cringe.

  • Using the terminal doesn't make normal people feel superior, it is simply more efficient to type commands than click UIs.

  • This is the same as doctors calling people fat. They're serious. You're fat and have to lose weight to be healthy.

Dentists aren't doing this to antagonize you. It has nothing to do with the "toughness" of your gums. They're telling you that your gums are nasty and you have to actually floss them. Gums bleed during dental visits primarily because of gingivitis and decaying food trapped along the gum lines. Brushing alone is not sufficient for oral hygiene.

tl;dr you're gross and dentists are being nice

  • Stop defending Nazis. You're clearly a fascist yourself. Nobody else could possibly be interested in splitting the Nazi/Israel hair like this.

We see you. We hear you. The gulag beckons.

  • You seem to think otherwise, which was embarrassing.

  • He is indeed somehow worse than Jordan Lund. A remarkable feat.

  • Are you upset that I can run any program on Linux? Why?

  • You asked if they can run. The answer is yes.

You're the one shifting to "may they run, p-pleaze".

  • It's just a poor description of some of the effects of capitalism through a consumer's lens. It's actually really low-level stuff.

  • Triple spaces and dumb characters? That's an easy block.

  • Learn the basics my man. You seem curious, go read instead of guessing.

  • I admit defeat.

  • I can run any software designed for Linux or Windows. Period.

If a package doesn't function, it's because the developers arbitrarily decided to disable it for capitalist reasons. Not because it won't work.

So the answer to "can Linux run X game made for Windows" is always yes. Always.

  • Just switch, holy shit.

  • Yes.

  • I can run adobe software in Linux.

  • I cannot relate in any way. I would tell these people to figure it out themselves and that they're ignorant and ungrateful. You're also a very nice person for putting up with that.
