  • Damn, I guess that's how the Dems will manage to lose their electoral goodwill.

  • The Governor and state leadership. The mayor and city council are getting overruled.

  • I'd point out that in the article, the city leadership hates the idea. It's going through anyway because the Governor and state leadership are overruling the mayor and city council.

  • It managed to capitalize the sentence!

  • Isn't this meme used to represent bad solutions to problems?

  • I've seen photoshop images more realistic than this. These aren't even the usual uncanny AI that creeps people out.

    Oh, and it's idiotic, but that's self-evident.

  • I want to be enthusiastic about this. I really, really do... but Star Wars has just burned me so hard this past decade announcing exciting projects only for them to never be heard from again. Remember that High Republic game? That was announced years ago now, and we've not heard anything since.

  • Is there a graph that breaks it down by rider? As in, deaths per 100K riders on public transit? I think this graph would be including people that don't ride public transit at all (I fully believe it's still safer, just not sure if this particular graph is the most accurate).

  • What an impressively sheltered life he's lived.

  • I don't really know if that means much? Putting aside how people actually feel at the idea of "God's plan", it broadly boils down to: "Did it happen? Then it was part of God's plan."

  • "God I love killing."

  • The show was from years ago. These people need to get a life.

  • This is super-mega spoilers, so if you have any intention of reading/watching it then don't look:

The guy that got isekaied doesn't actually exist. "He" was a fake personality implanted into the Last Boss to try and reign her in by the goddess, who is disguising herself as the Last Boss's advisor. Which is why the assistant looks so uneasy when the Last Boss wipes out the orks in episode 1: because even with the fake personality and memories throwing her off, the Last Boss still has her instincts.

  • Kind of have mixed feelings on this. There's an absolutely massive plot twist that, knowing in advance, lets me enjoy the (very) subtle clues. Not knowing about the twist makes it come off as random isekai slop though.

  • Your boss wanted to invade Canada just a couple months ago.
