  • I mean it doesn't need to be a coordinated act from "the left".

Go print some stupid Trump stickers that say "I did that" and go stick them on everything. When gas goes up, stick them on the pumps. When electronics go up. Stick them on the boxes at best buy.

The issue isn't "the left" as some amorphous organization. It's that most people who align more left aren't that petty. The left is a much more disorganized, factions political position than the right. And that's because the GOP has worked relentlessly to build a cohesive base.

  • "I invoke my right to remain silent and have a lawyer."

It sucks, but sometimes you have to explicitly state you are exercising your rights. Just staying silent doesn't mean they won't stop pestering you with questions. Make it clear and concise that that you are demanding your lawyer be present and any further questioning done should be in violation of that right. But you have to make it clear you are invoking it.

  • I find the limit to be useful. It prevents random relationship drama and filler.

But I think both film and television series work great for different stories. Having television without a definitive end makes stories weirdly convoluted and meaningless as they try to change another season, just the same as the empty film sequel.

  • I keep trying to get into it. I have one and do some neat things with it. But personally. I've found it to just be another tool to fabricate for some other projects. But the little knick knacks keep being the main models showing up on printables and thingiverse.

I'd love to see a repository of 3d models of parts for various machinery and car parts. My entire interior is basically molded abs, why aren't there models of all those pieces I can just print?

  • Oh man, the car parts one take up so much space too.

Do I need three exhausts for my WRX? Nope, but I keep banging them up off reading.

3 engine blocks, all needing some form of rebuilding. Mostly just new bearings. Or an entire extra wire harness because in the last rebuild it was just easier to buy a new one.

All my old shocks and springs after I replaced them with outback gear.

And that's just what fits on the car. I've got big brake kits for cars I don't even own! But they're like $2k if I can ever find a buyer.

  • My guess is that it's asking for you to confirm your date of birth, to a minimal degree of accuracy without actually having to reveal your date of birth.

I kind of like the idea. Most people know what their star sign is, whether they believe in it or not. So they will be able to answer quickly and correctly. Those that need to look it up it might need to be more critical of the login for.

  • Used as a prop for a Halloween haunted house.

  • I hate that the stores who do that will often get the same item with a different SKU so that there isn't anything online that they actually match. It could be the exact same product, but different SKU.

  • It's how I determine my favorite car. It's the one I get to drive now.

The bestest dog? The one I get to pet now.

  • Trump did that stickers on all the electronic prices at best buy.

  • In the bio hacking world, yea. There are reprogrammable RFID implants that you can get. They are rather large though and kind of suck when trying to use. Check out dangerousthings.com

  • Let's not build the infrastructure to improve people's lives so our friend with the satellite internet he's selling can make more money.

    -The GOP

  • Depending on what people do, the government already has their fingerprints.

Personally, I work around schools so I had to get a background check and fingerprinted for that. I also am licensed to handle explosives, both federally and at the state level. I been fingerprinted for that. I've gone through TSA for hazmat endorsement on a commercial driver's license. That needed fingerprints and a background check.

Getting fingerprinted to get through airport security is the least of my privacy concerns.

But my threat model isn't the TSA. They aren't a concern of mine, although I do opt out of their facial recognition.

I am concerned with internet surveillance, corporate surveillance, and communication surveillance.

  • I hate how corporate Plex has become. Instead of making their apps better, now it's how many "free" services they can try and get you to use.

All I wanted was my hosted media. And to easily share that with family without having to manage user accounts.

I run jellyfin along side it, but Plex still gets the most use.

  • Tombstone, AZ has a population of 1,313.

  • I specifically will boycott places if their ads annoy me enough.

  • I want a replica of the ocarina from Lunar: A Silver Star Story.

    It's such a beautiful instrument.

  • Besides all that manual labor requires math. A ton requires geometry.

You think plumbing, framing, electrical or any trade is done without measuring and quite complicated math?
