Be kind and use people's names. Also, just asking for stuff.
You'd be amazed how far it will take you just to ask for something, using a person's name, and being kind about it. Demand something and people will be reluctant to give you a thing.
Yea. It's simple when you change the question from "do you want to buy X?" To making the assumption that they already will buy it and now the only question is "what color will you be buying?"
Want to know a sad irony? The cart returns are usually really far from the handicap spots. Parking is close to the store. But the returns are halfway down the aisle.
Oh same. I've talked with friends about conceal carry. We all agree it would be the scariest thing possible to actually need to use it. We'll pretty much want to exhaust all other options including running the fuck away first.
We couldn't imagine the idea of actually living with having murdered someone. I know I'd pretty much immediately end up in therapy to help process it.
The issue I was having was getting a hyper-v host to connect to an iscsi array on a nimble. That first result was pretty much exactly what I needed. It didn't highlight it in the preview, but it was on the page once I opened it.
Unifi. I've got a box of APs as ewaste just sitting in the basement. Every so often I would get more ewaste from companies I work with.
I don't need the most demanding of wifi systems. I hardwire most of my stuff whenever possible. And I have a fairly small home. A single AP on the main floor, 1 AP on the basement. 1 AP in the detached garage.
Most of my wifi devices are iot things on their own vlan.
Oh man. I've had this kind of thing. I started inviting people I knew wouldn't come. I wouldn't feel bad when they didn't. But I'd occasionally get a couple that I didn't expect and had a good time.
My girlfriend hates hearing no though so she only invites those she knows will say yes. It's a bit of a bummer. Because I always enjoy the surprise of someone I didn't expect.
I don't really like having to connect a monitor and keyboard when working on my servers now.
Storage is really limited for TV and movies though if you are running Plex.
If you want to host something like libre office, just remember how important backups actually are. If you take the risk of hosting business documents, make sure you do everything necessary to protect them.
Att's usage meter sucks.
