I was looking at tickets to go to India next January for my wedding, and they are $2000-$3000 for a shitty 14 hour flight on a plane where nothing works. I say two to three thousand, as they went up that much within 15 minutes of me looking at different dates.
Seems kind of redundant to have a UN council with over 13 members that can’t do anything if 1 member doesn’t like it. It seems that the other members are ‘united’ so the US should eat sand.
If firms are the ones using AI, then it isn’t even HR wizards. It’s the geniuses that can manage to pick out the right candidate for a job even though they know nothing about the position, company, location, candidates, or work load.
They are already throwing out your best candidates because they don’t know what they are doing, but their firm costs less than a couple HR people so the share holders still think it’s a good idea.

Anecdotally, I will say that it has caused an increase of selling weed to other neighbouring countries. When I went to visits friends in Cambodia this summer, there was lots of ‘hydro’ available in cities close to the border that is 100X better than the stuff in Cambodia, where it’s legal-ish.
