  • Rogers recently purchased our local wired cable/internet provider. Service has shit the bed as expected. Signal drops regularly where it was very consistent before. Cell service has also deteriorated to the point that I can see the cell tower from my house but have no signal now.

    We were happy with our little provider now we have to find another. Luckily there are a few left serving our rural community.

    Fuck the telcos and the government's that consistently keep them safe from competition.

  • It's been set aside for a bit for summer. We grow a lot of our own food so summer is for gardens and animals. I'll post more soon. I have another couple of pieces half completed but were interrupted by planting season. Thank you for following along.

    Ooooh that's a tough question. There are so many good hammers. I think an old chasing hammer from auto body work that I found in the bottom of my father's hammer box (yup, that's just what it sounds like, a big old wooden box full of hammers, glad it wasn't a bag...har har) when I was cleaning up the old tools. I was a little aggressive with it last week and it needs a new handle now but that's not anything I can't fix right here on my own.

  • Thank you. It takes about 30-40hrs to make one. That's from raw reclaim material (wire and pipe, local stones and beach finds). Not including time spent sourcing materials or making shipping crates when necessary.

    I charge $300/CAD per jelly plus shipping to you. Each is original. No reproductions or remakes.
