  • It's the root mean square of Riker.

  • Wooow. Good luck with your blood pressure, bro. 😥

  • How many are crabs, though? Or are crabs beetles?

  • "Agro"? I'm not the one upset over words on the internet...

  • Because sometimes it isn't always clear what will be a spoiler. >!And I think spoilering everything would be silly and not helpful at all. Especially considering that different Lemmy clients do spoilers differently sometimes!<

  • I've seen people get butthurt over spoilers from NES games. To me, that feels unreasonable.

There needs to be a point where we stop agonizing over spoiling content that is 30, 40 years old. Even if you never had a chance to play it, it's 30 or 40 years old. I don't know where that cutoff point needs to be. I'm just saying there needs to be one. And if you're going to be upset over spoilers, over content that that's that old, then maybe you need to be careful about what you're reading.

  • I get that, but sometimes the "spoiler" is what's discussed. Or worse, we don't realize that it's a spoiler, because you didn't watch some related media that revealed it.

  • Do you think that no one can talk about a thing they like just because you've been too lazy to interact with it? The world doesn't stop for you. Out of consideration, spoilers will be avoided. Not indefinitely though.

  • No, but there does need to be a reasonable time limit on when it is reasonable to not have to worry about spoiling something...

  • They haven't figured out how to get it working upside down yet. You'll have to find a local retailer.

  • You're not wrong, but sadly that's not how our legal system works.

  • Yes. Some AURs have been recently afflicted with RATs. They were taken down as soon as they were found, and it's not an uncommon thing as AUR is largely unregulated by anyone other than Arch's community.

Which is good. That's how it's supposed to be with FOSS.

  • Pretty sure those are protected and far too niche for the likes of him. A chainsaw would do nicely instead.

  • Delightful

  • I don't think he needs to distract them, I think for the most part they're ok with this.

  • Anything can be phallic if you're into it enough...

  • It's because I use Arch. 😏

  • "Without plan" my ass. This was the plan. Anything to justify starting. The only thing "without plan" is stopping. They'll stop when the targets run dry. 😥

  • Use NixOS and run Arch in a VM.
